Progressive gap between video and audio

Hello,
I want to burn a WMV file on dvd. The WMV file has excellent image, sound and perfectly synchronized.
But when I burn it on dvd, everything remains of excellent quality except that the video and audio have progressive offset (ok at beginning but increasing throughout the video). How can I solve this problem ? I have Power2Go version 6.
Thank you,
Roger

Where did you play the video after burning it? Did you use a Windows Media Player with it?

I have the same/similar problem that Roger1955 had. As far as where I played it afterward, it was on Windows Media Player as well as VLC media player and it's the same result on both players. I have Power2Go version 6 also, but the files being burned were in .mpeg format, not .wmv. Please respond with a possible cause/solution. Thank you so much.

Sometimes that happens when the computer can't keep up. (mux/demux) This is usually an issue with an antivirus or too many programs being open at the same time. It could also happen if your hard drive (non-solid state) needs maintenance- cleaned and degragged.

Try disconnecting from the Internet, clean and degrag your hard drive (with something like CCleaner and a defragmenter). Reboot, turn off the programs that you don;t need running and try again. Let us know if that helped, please..

power2go 6 is quite old, maybe you should try their newer version, for ex. power2go 11.

you can download their trial version to make sure this issue is fixed in their program or not first, then decide purchase it or get a bundle version from some hardware device.
