power2go 8.0 locking up

When creating a dvd disc, my power2go8.0 is locking up during the authoring progress section. It usually stops running around 60% progress. The counters still go up and down, but when the time remaining will run down to 1 second and then stop.Can anyone tell me why this is happening? Thanks. Shahn

What is an authoring progress section? Is there a way to disable it? Checking all the options set before you burn a DVD would be a great move.
