Ah, I think I see your issue.
The Android version is very different from Powerdirector 17 (I think you should amend your title to reflect that you're using that version).
When you add two clips in the Android app the transition is added automatically, tap on this and the transitions pane will open and you can change it to one of your choosing.

I can confirm the option is also available on the app on my Chromebook.

What you need is Picture-in-Picture (PIP).

There are two ways.
- Expand the timeline so the pictures look bigger, and you can grab the edges.
or
2. An easier way. Click on the photo and change the duration. The size of objects is dependant on their duration.
As you can see from the attached, you can change the default duration, so that your pictures will be bigger from the start.

Yes, it is as you say.
I downloaded the project and took this screenshot at the titles timestamp.

Have you thought of doing pre-cuts at the points where you want the changes and adding those to the new template?
I've no idea if that would work but it might be worth trying.

Hi
The packs are made up of a number of elements (particles, PIP objects, effects, and transitions). Different packs have different numbers of these.
Therefore, it's best to look in the various rooms for the action pack or any other pack.
Hope this helps.

The first thing to bear in mind is that the application doesn't store your pictures, just the location and any edits you have made.
I'm not sure what you mean by "directly imported".
I believe that you can develop RAW, but I'm not sure.

Hi,
I'm afraid I don't know anything about Apple Photos.
What I can tell you is that the import of the photos does not move them from their original location (I presume this is the same on the Mac) you can specify a copy location if you want.
There isn't an automatic process and you would need to create albums in PhD10 (though in Windows the original file structure is maintained).
It may be that this software will be a good fit for you. I hope that you get the answers you need.

Yes, the photos are referenced to the original file structure.
The copy feature (which can be turned off) allows you to create copies on import to, say, a cloud service or back up drive.
Edits made by PhotoDirector are held in the application until you export the photo and either replace the original or create a changed copy. This means that you can remove any of the adjustments/edits whenever you want.
By this method, you can be creative and try lots of effects but still keep the original.

PhotoDirecter organises your photos however you want to.
It uses projects - you can create a project for all your photos or for specific folders/. For instance, I have a project for every event or location.
When you import your photos it creates a file to record where the folders are located (I don't use a Mac so I can't comment on this process there). On import, there is a setting to copy the files to another location (photo director does not hold the photos, just info about them).
When imported, you can use albums and tags to organise and there are smart folders that can show photos based on various criteria.
Hope this at least answers part of your query.

In PD17
There is a drop-down at the top of the media room (where all your clips are), called Media content. Click on this and there you'll see an option for background music.

I'm sorry, but I'm not seeing the behaviour that you describe Transitions I add are only affecting the two clips that I add them to.
Perhaps you could show us what you mean?

Hi,
You could try doing one yourself in the particle designer (if supported in your version.
You would need to find a llama picture and create a new onew from scratch.
Look on YouTube for tutorials.

Good spot, I'd forgotten about that. It's not something I do, so probably didn't think of it.

I presume that you mean in the slideshow?
The straight answer is no, but PowerDirector would be the best bet.
Unless the motion Stills feature is useful to you (I can't remember if PhD9 had this feature)

There is no batch cropping in PhotoDirector, as far as I know.
The only batch processing that you can do is at import and export.

I just had alittle test, and couldn't reproduce.
Have you added formatting to your text, in Word?
Maybe it's worth converting your credits into plain text then pasting it?
You couls create a template for font etc and saveit for the plain text titles.

Hi,
You could make sure that the audio is unlinked from the video (right click on the clip and choose unlink), then place the audio on another track.
it would help if we knew what transition.

You will need PhotoDirector and it's removal tool. This will probably have varied results as it can have problems if there is a busy background behind what you want to remove.
My camera can be set to add the date in this way, but I turned it off for exactly this reason. Having said that, I managed to clear the date away in most cases.
