Is it possible to create timelapse in photodirector 9?

I presume that you mean in the slideshow?

The straight answer is no, but PowerDirector would be the best bet.

Unless the motion Stills feature is useful to you (I can't remember if PhD9 had this feature)

In Powerdirector yes, choose slideshow project then choose timelapse
