Hi folks

I have downloaded the latest Power Director App and paid the 3 month introductory subscription. There is no option to insert transitions at all. Can anyone help?

Andrew

As you add clips there will be a lightning symbol in a film clip rectangular box between the clips. Click on this rectangular box and you will be presented with transitions that you can select. Single click on the transition and see a demo what it does. Double click will add that transition to the box between the clips.

Thank you Tomasc. Unfortunately the lightning symbol is just not there. I’m sure I have the full version. I even paid for it. I am using the app on an android tablet.

Ah, I think I see your issue.

The Android version is very different from Powerdirector 17 (I think you should amend your title to reflect that you're using that version).

When you add two clips in the Android app the transition is added automatically, tap on this and the transitions pane will open and you can change it to one of your choosing.

I'm having the same issue. On a video I just created (3 clips), the normal transition tool (lightening symbol between clips just simply isnt there.

Ive created a number of videos with PowerDirector Mobile before on this same device and the transition icon is normally present.

Looks like a bug to me.
