I agree with Iztac....

Even with the optimization performed, I have the same issue..... when 416.xx drivers are used.

Coming back to 411.xx solve that......
Quote If they have installed correctly they are under the 'plugins' menu as the attached screenshot

Hi... Thanks, ED71...

I searched again after posting, and I found them... When I reveive your answer, I was just reday to write I had found.

Many thanks again.....
Hi,

I owned Director Suite 6. There is not a Director Suite 7. So, I subscribed to the Director Suite 365.

With it, come the different packs AI (Van Gogh, Impressionists....). I installed them (PD 17 and the AI packs) via tbe Cyberlink Application Manager.

But when I open PD 17, I don't find these AI packs....

What did I do wrong? Or am I suddenly blind?

Has anybody an explanation.

Thank you, all, in advance for helping...

Quote Looks like a good reason not to instal the patch until more users try it out.

Patch 2816 installed, and no problem.....
Quote Hi Bhajje

Check ON in "Hardware Acceleration": Enable OpenCL

Regards

Irek
Hi, Irek,

Many thanks.... With OpenCL enabled, it works....

Anyway, what I don't understand is that before this diver version, OpenCL was not checked, and it was fine....

By the way, now it works.... no more this exasperating pause when playing from a clip to the next.....

Many thanks again.....
Quote Hi Bhajje -

I don't have the same issue.

Till I read your post, I hadn't updated to the 391.01 driver for my GTX680. I set up a test project with UHD & 4K clips with VBR of 50-100Mbps (about 20 min duration).

After playing around with it using the previous 390.77 driver (no issues), I saved and closed PDR16 to install the new driver.

Running the 391.01 driver with hardware ecoding checked in PDR, there was no obvious difference in playback of the same project. Preview, as previously, was set to Full HD.

Cheers - Tony

Hi Tony,

Thanks for your test.

So, I re- installed diver 391.01, but not as an update, but as a new installation. And I have always the same problem. And what I clearly see now, is that when jumping from a clip to the following, there is a short pause of the playback. Between two clips, the plaback is smooth. And again, when jumping to the following clip on the timeline, a short pause again....

When coming back to the previous driver (390.77), I have not these pauses....

Originally, I have 4K (100 Mbps) clips. I use shadow files (1280x720) with preview in full HD.

It's just not very cool to have these pauses.... So, after installing as a new installation the 391.01 driver, I come back again to the previous one.
Quote Hi, everybody,

This morning, I installed the last Nvidia driver (391.01) for my GTX960.....

Then, I opened PD16 to work on my project. And there is a problem: reading the timeline is no more smooth, with this driver.

The playback is jerky. And when I come back to the previous driver version (390.77), it's smooth again. So, I keep this previous version.

Has anybody find the same thing?

Up....

Nobody with the same issue? I don't think I am alone to experience this pproblem with this driver version....

No, you can't. The tool downloads and proceed to the installation immediately.
Since yesterday, it's possible to download and install Creator Update manually by an assistant from Microsoft.
Hi, Jdfrench3,

I also upgraded to W10 Creator update yesterday evening, and I have PDVD 16 Ultra (last patch), and no problem.

PDVD 16 works fine.
After erasing the cache of Firefox, I can now download with the direct link....

Muy problem is solved....
Hi, I have a problem with beta patch 2302.

Direct download link doesn't work, and when using the downloader link, that's the 2226 beta patch which is downloaded....
Yes, you are wright, Jeff.
I verified before downloading, and I already had 2026 (Director Suite 5 downloaded from CL).
Yes, thank you, Stevek. I have seen this other post.

I have not the live version.....
Thanks, Dafydd.....
Hi Dafydd,

Thanks to try to help me. The problem is that I have NO crash report...... As soon as I apply the vitascene effect on the video clip on the timeline, PD15 crashes saying "PD15 a cessé de fonctionner" (PD15 doesn't work now) (see picture, in french).

Perhaps a report file is ceated somewhere, but where, I Don't know....

In a precedent post I said I thought I had found that this happened when the shadow files were activated, but no, activated or not, the crash happens.
Thank you, Stevek and Jeff.....

So, the pb is on my PC. What is courious is that I made the test on an other PC, and the crash of PD happened too.

I have to work to find what is the reason the problem.
In Titler Pro 4, exported titles are MOV files with transparency.
When importing them in PD, you place them where you want without anything to do.
No, Barry, Titler Pro 4 is not usable as a plugin for PD.
I use it in the standalone mode, importing the export in PD.
