I just reinstalled Windows and I get this error.

"Another version of CyberLink PowerDVD is currently running. You must first close it before launching CyberLink POwerDVD14."

It worked fine in my old install. When WMC starts the PowerDVD puling, PowerDVD gets confused and stops saying that PowerDVD is already running.
Delivered successfully, to whom? I have gotten many from the forum that use the same address and one from vcsupport@cyberlink.com. Listed below are a few of the emails I've gotten. I don't want to post my address but they are not sending the email to my address. I bet you a dollar that the email it’s sent to is not the one in my account.

Or my email provider is deleting, not moving to the SPAM folder but deleting email from only no-reply@vipmail.cyberlink.com and only then ones that don’t have “[CyberLink Community Forum]” in the subject line ???

New reply from them. Not sure what they are saying though. I again had to go check as there was no email from "no-reply@vipmail.cyberlink.com" letting me know there was a reply.

"Regarding your concern, I would like to inform you that we have sent the follow up. The notification mail is the same as the attachment which is sent from “no-reply@vipmail.cyberlink.com”. I suggest you to check the inbox and let us know if any problem."
They just told me the same thing again:

We would suggest you to add our email address (no-reply@vipmail.cyberlink.com) to your Email Safe Senders List.

Like it says every time you create a ticket. Arggg!!!!

* Note: To ensure you receive notification emails, please add no-reply@vipmail.cyberlink.com to the Safe List in your email software

Maybe my email address is messed up in their system someplace. I'll I know is, that I've never changed it and I've checked my forum profile and my CyberLink "My Account" profile and it's the same in both.

???
Something is wrong on their side. They are not sending me an email for replies to tickets, not to my email address anyway. I use Outlook but I can go online to the email webpage and there is no cyberlink email in the SPAM folder. In fact, the “no-reply@vipmail.cyberlink.com” address is the same address that the CyberLink Community Forum emails come from and they come through just fine.

It is for all new tickets. It did work at one point but then I just stopped getting the emails for ticket replies. The ones for the forum still work and I got one for your reply today. Same email address I've always had.

I was wondering if it was something like I'd said no to marketing email so it stopped ticket update email too. ???

Here are the last three tickets:

CS001438466
CS001414468
CS001438430

Thanks.
Anyone else have this happen? My email address has always been the same and I get emails about the Forum thread replies but no longer for support ticket replies. They are not in the SPAM folder. Is there an account setting somewhere to disable support ticket reply emails?

I’ve asked support several times but they just have a really hard time understanding basic questions. Asking me for a DxDiag log or showing me how to check my support ticket.

On the last support ticket they took a few days to reply and I checked again a few days later to find they wanted me to down load a file but the password to download it expired the day after the reply.
I did not know you could type in hundredth of second though I bet you a kabillion dollars that no one can tell the difference between 0.1 and 0.15 seconds.
D-post:

I forget what version they added it to but 14 has a delay audio setting under: Settings, (Video, Audio, Subtitles) then the miscellaneous tab. You can add or subtract tenths of seconds. All that being said, I’ve not needed to use it with my AMD video card HDMI out to the TV.

I have a new AMD card and have something like this too.

There seems to be an issue with 13 and 14 regarding HDCCP. I have 12 and it plays everything as it should and always has but you’ll see a few post about 14 crashing or giving a black screen when trying to start a Blu-Ray. On my LCD computer screen I get a black screen with audio but with only the TV connected most movies play as they should but there are a few that simple cause 14 to go back to the main screen and not being able to try any others after that.

Again, PowerDVD 12 on the same PC plays all movies as it should.

I have an AMD 290 video card and Windows 7.

Just try the VideoLAN VLC media player. I only use PowerDVD for Blu-ray disc playback.
That is what I was thinking too. I think they made a change in 14 but I don’t think it’s working right.

I’ve had this setup for 6 years or so now with a few different LCDs and every version of PDVD has worked correctly. Even if I only select one LCD (Dell U3011, had for the last 3 years) to be active in the driver and only have that same display powered on PDVD14 still has a black screen while PDVD13 works as it should.

I think there is a bug in the way it handles HDCCP.
Thanks for the info, I hope they fix it.

PDVD13 did the same thing but was hoping 14 would work.

Support had told that this was how 13 worked and to use 14, like it had been fixed in 14 but I guess not.
I've had most of the versions of PDVD and have used 12, 13 and now 14 on this PC. PDVD 13 is still installed and works as it always has but PDVD 14 only shows a black screen when I try to watch a Blu-ray on my main two LCD displays. I use DisplayPort and DVI to two LCD displays in the office and have a HDMI connection to the TV. I normally use either the LCDs or the TV and not both. I found that PDVD14 will work on the TV only or with all three displays in extended desktop but only if I start the movie with PDVD 14 on the TV.
When the video is playing, right click and select the show information selection to toggle it off/on.
My PowerDVD 13 and now 14 do this from time to time. Was there ever a fix? It started sometime after AMD driver 14.6 I think. Using 14.9 now and it still happens. Had never seen it before. The Windows taskbar just flashes for a second from time to time.
I don't want them on when I start a movie and using PowerDVD by itself and looking at the subtitle settings I see nothing to force them on by default, only change how they look. And this is how all titles work when using PowerDVD by itself, the subtitles are off when you start the movie. Only after the movie is playing can I see the right click menu Primary Subtitle option and set it to ON if I wanted. I see no setting to have the subtitles on by default and that is what I want.

With the same title and using Windows Media Center, PowerDVD starts and the subtitles are always on and I must then go to the right click menu Subtitles settings, see that the setting is on and then set it to None. Under settings there is a Closed Captions option that is set to Off and a Display Upon Mute option that is set to None but could be set to have the subtitles on when muted. The Color Profile and the Closed Caption options are not changeable. ???
