Subtitles Always On By Default in Windows Media Center

I don't want them on when I start a movie and using PowerDVD by itself and looking at the subtitle settings I see nothing to force them on by default, only change how they look. And this is how all titles work when using PowerDVD by itself, the subtitles are off when you start the movie. Only after the movie is playing can I see the right click menu Primary Subtitle option and set it to ON if I wanted. I see no setting to have the subtitles on by default and that is what I want.

With the same title and using Windows Media Center, PowerDVD starts and the subtitles are always on and I must then go to the right click menu Subtitles settings, see that the setting is on and then set it to None. Under settings there is a Closed Captions option that is set to Off and a Display Upon Mute option that is set to None but could be set to have the subtitles on when muted. The Color Profile and the Closed Caption options are not changeable. ???

Thanks for the info, I hope they fix it.

PDVD13 did the same thing but was hoping 14 would work.

Support had told that this was how 13 worked and to use 14, like it had been fixed in 14 but I guess not.
