In Details View, can you click on the column headers to sort by name, duration, etc or does that also give you the parameter error?

Scene detection, it was useful in the time of the tapes to detect each Stop / Rec of the footage.
Select between 10, 5, 1, minutos, 10, 5, 1 seconds, 5, 1 frames I still don't know what it's for.
I did a test with .vob video at 1:47 hours
worked perfectly
I did the same with the tool, Detect Scenes ...
(Sensitive at 50)
The video was divided into 99 Scenas corresponding to the Stop / Rec of the footage
View Scenes, can also be used for the same.
A tool with more resources to analyze the video.
Select the video on the timeline and Tools / Content Aware Editing

Hello,
Using PD365, the precut, it defaults to 10 minutes on the multicut.
There is also a scene detection option.
Does find scenes every 10 minutes and cut?
Or just cut when scenes change regardless of time?

Hello,
I started a new project in PD365. Imported a video then decided to download music from Shutterstock.
The tune I wanted was selected, and the download button highlighted from gray. I clicked it to download the song, but EVERYTHING I downloaded in the past now shows up in my Media Room->Downloaded. Not the Media Room->media content
But I want the video clip and downloaded tune to show up in the media content area - so I just have two items to work with.
It just seems easier rather than jumping between the two.
Anyone else mind this? Or have a solution?
Ultimately, I can do what i want.

Hello,
I'm looking into getting an updated system for 2021.
I game but do some content creation with PD. More gaming.
CUDA is supported by Nvidia and from what I read is superior to
OpenGL.
Not sure if Intel is superior to AMD with PD.

I see..I note you said 'fill' a frame. I was thinking a crop 'cut' it out of the frame.
For my example here, I am using a 9:16 video
Hope I am explaining this correctly, here I go.
When take a video and use only 9:16 cropping - I see no black borders.
When I use key frame, with first a 9:16 crop then another keyframe with a FreeForm Crop, the black borders shop up right away.
I am realizing if you want to use a green screen and combine video, using the same aspect ration is pretty important.
However, if you cannot, and want to crop video...it will be a bit of a mess.
Suggestions on how to get around that?

Hello,
I wanted to crop some video from a video that is 16:9. When I use crop wtih 16:9 it crops ok with no black bars, but since it the height and width are constrained, I cannot crop the area I want.
I used freeform and cropped the area I wanted, however the cropped out area has black bars.
The attached file FreeFromCrop (typo alert, should have been freeFORMcrop)
Note the black bars - any way to remove thos black bars? I just want the crop, the the left over area.
when I crop 16:9 it works fine, but cannot control the area i'd like to crop as well.
And I put no crop in for a for a baseline.

Select with yellow cursor, Produce Range button appears, click on it and proceed to produce the clip.
You have to do it one by one.

ADR doesn't automatically determine BPM (Beats per Minute). If you need it, you have to show ADR what the beat is.
The help file explains in more detail.
To be honest I've never tried that feature, but I'll test it at my earliest convenience.

I tried the BPM feature...however, I think I lack rhythm.
This screen popped up:
to determine the tempo tap several quarter notes to the beat of the music by clicking the [Tap] button or pressing the "T" button on your keyboard"
I tried that and I seem to be off the beat (the metronome does not 'click' when I think it should, but when I did the tapping, it seemed right.
The BPM is fluctuating between 42-48 BPM
The song I working with is Joan Osbournes "One of us"
I did a search for the song and 'bpm'found this: it was 88
Another site showed 175 bpm, 87bpm and 135 pm.
Looks like was i was close to the half way mark...

I understand time code (time, right?), but what is bar/beat?
How does AD know what the beat is?
It looks like the Bar is just and evenly spaced amount of time?
Can someone explaint to me when I would use timecode vs bar/beat?

Thank you it is helpful.
But I am trying to find a way to automatically select the clip as a range.
The automatic options does it when low on memory. But that is not the case.
Also, I want them rendered so they end up in my media library. With many small clips, very short - selecting them by range is sometimes difficult.

I use the Precut feature for larger clips, once it is done, it puts them in a sub folder. Can I take the clips I want from the sub folder into the main media library?
Or only drop them into the timeline?

Hello,
I partition very small clips of videos - and on the timeline with other larger clips they are slivers in compariaon.
I try to render and product them. But I find selecting the range very difficult.
Is there any way to select and render the clip? When I select the clip, I can use the Home and End clip to get to the end and beginning, but cannot select the whole clip to render. I have to expant the the timeline to get it right, It just takes a lot more time when I have many small clips.
Thoughts?

Hello,
I have a video and I want to boost the video. So I went to th audio mixing room.
The main slider, Audio 1, was moved to the top but the whole track did not increase, the starter to taper off at the end.
I tried to turn off the fade in, but it drops the volume to zero, when I slide it back, is still fades down at he end.
See the image of the mess I made touching the fade in and fade out. Note , I did not manually manipulate the bars by hand.
How do I boost the whole volume track to max with no fade in or fade out? Max al the way?
Question 2 - why does it do this?

Am I able to copy or cut and image in my buffer and paste it to a blank (new) canvas in PhotoDirector?
I can right click on existing images and open with, or make PhD my default, but cut and paste?

This is the response I got from BorisFX:
Unfortunately we do not have anything available that is compatible with PowerDirector - we used to have a bundle for various versions, but this is no longer bundled, and we never actually sold anything for use with it.
Now, having said that, there is a free Compositing Host called Resolve (that is, there is a free version) that is compatible with the BCC/Continuum OFX package - this would allow you to at least apply BCC to individual clips and relay these back to PowerDirector to insert into your timeline.
I have never tried Composting Host. Anyone?
Follow up. Hoping Cyberlink grows in popularity.

The Cyberlink included plugins I believe we discontinued the
bundle a while back as well. Unfortunately I don't have any contacts at
