Hello,
When I start a new PD365 session - I no longer see the Shutterstock/iStock option to get media.
I noticed the 'Hide in Library' option when you right click on the Premium Stock Content, but how do I get it back?
I LOVE the new content!!!

Without hacking the appropriate .png file, if you can find it, there is no way to alter the design of the markers. In any case, I recall a member doing something similar back in 2008 or so, but the files are reset to default whenever there is a new release so you have to do it all again!!
I think you are left with improving your mouse skills! I just tried Google "mouse skills training", should get you a load of games/exercises to spend any spare time you have!!!
Seriously though, you could try different pointer schemes and check your mouse accuracy/speed/precision. Not all mice are the same!

ugh..
The range finding tabs - they have to change from and outline to solid yellow to grab them and move them
But I always have tough time grabbing them, and instead move the whole scrubber.
So ctrl-Z and try again.
Or maybe I am just unskilled with a mouse?
Suggestions on getting around this?

Hello,
I have a webcam and it's mic is selected for audio recording.
But when I try to record audio in the mixing room is barely audible.
Even if I crank up the volume (db) to full.
Is thee an audio input setting I did not set in AD?
I have headset, when I use that as the mic - it records fine with AD.
When using the webcam for meetings, without the headset - people can hear me fine.
Using Windows 10 I ran the default test (open sound setting->input (GENERAL WEBCAM)->device manager and test microphone
It comes back with it reached only 16%
My question is, if 16% is fine for a Zoom meeting when I speak, why is AD barely detecting any input from the mic?
My AD settings for hardware are
Default Input: Microphone (GENERAL WEBCAM)
Default Output: (Current System Settings)
Thoughts?

How do I get it so it matches the beat of the music?
It is voice - a reading of a literature. I want it to match the beat of music in the background.

Hello,
I wanted to start a new PhD365 session.
But it loaded and is showing my old project. I did not choose to load a project, I just opened PhD365
There is no 'new' option. But instead if prompts you to create a new project folder.
Or do I have to delete all assets?
It is kind of a pain.
Can I just wipe out what is there and start from scratch?
Help me out as to why it does this?

So I created the canvas sized I wanted. But then it restartds PhD, And everything in my photo library is gone.
On the Edit Screen do I need to add a new layer? I don't see 'add photo'.

Hello,
This is pretty basic.
I have imported two photos in my library and I want to split them evenly on the canvas, but it seems I can only add one at time.
I can create a new layer add the 2nd photo and resize it. Is this the best way?
Any way to auto size the images so they equaly share the canvas?

Hello,
I was using the Pip editor and was repositioning an object. I did it for a few frames, then let the video play to another point and used the PiP stop video button where I wanted to place a keyframe.
But I am unable to add one. when I click the position keyframe, it remains greyed out.
So is the Object setting bar.
If I hit 'stop' on the video and it goes to the beginning I can place one, but have to move the scrubber head back to where it was. And then I can do it.
Is this by design? I hit stop, it takes me to the beginning and I have to reposition?

GPU or CPU loading can be 100% as shown in the screenshots.
Please have patience and help out a noob.
The H265 codec used up 100% gpu (1 core)
The H264 codec used up 100% cpu (1 core)
Is that correct?
I am assuming PD is not optimized for hardware set ups? More generic.
Other assumption:
CPU will likely be used more for encoding, gpu would be use for displaying in real time?

I just upgraded my PC. So far I am a little disappointed at the performance increase. I guess I was expecting it to be like 10X faster instead of 2-3 times faster. I was hoping that in Edit mode in PD that I would be able to play the project I was working on without having to render it. It is better though. On my old system my test project would play for 13 secs before the video would stop/stutter while the audio kept going. On the new system it gets up to 1:09 before it stops. It does not crash, it just stutters. Here is my data. The last two lines are render speed times.
All the source video was shot by 16 musicians in their homes using smart phones. So they vary in quality but none of them are higher res than 1080p.
I am more amazed you actually got your hands on that CPU and GPU!!!!! The are in such short supply!
Hoping to get a similar set up.

I am using Content Aware Editing and my scenes have been split up.
However using the mouse to get to them is inaccurate.
Is there a way I can keyboard tab, or step thru them, back or forth?

Almost none as I try not to make mistakes in recording videos. Use manual exposure/tripods/experience, etc. This way I can use svrt most of the time. The plugins are most useful for post production effects and enhancement of videos if one does movie making or filmmaking at 24 fps or to fix errors. Plugins like NewBlue are included with PD ult and 365.
You skills and experience make you post production shorter - got it! Love that!
NewBlueFx chroma key does not come with PD365 out of box, so I thoughts I would give it a try.

I purchased NewBlueFX 's ChromaKey Pro as I like the green screen work.
It has a lot of changeable properties which I need ot learn.
the Color range is based on hue, the sensitivty is based on shade.
Many more options

Width
Soften
Outline Opacity
Offset
Angle
Blur
Drop Shadow Opacity
Show Mask

Which is great when one sucks as green screening (ie. me)
I find the built in one really good - I love how it can select the background color with the built in color eye dropper. NewBlueFX lacks it.
It uses color range and DENOISE (is that the same as sensitivity?)
If you are great a greenscreening - this is the fastest choice IMHO.
Has anyone else - any opinions or thoughts? Better ways to greenscreen? Colorboards?
I've attached a small video of both. Note I had to set the greenscreen to the same colors in the each plugin (rgb values) as NewBlueFX defaulted a Green color

In Details View, can you click on the column headers to sort by name, duration, etc or does that also give you the parameter error?
