Blu-ray 3d movies are not meant to use the slider. The depth and convergence option should be blanked out when watching 3d blu-rays. Otherwise it totally screws up the picture.
I agree with Man Khan, I've experienced this same problem. It should be greyed out or have a reset button if needed. This needs to be addressed i think.

I should not have to delay the audio on the receiver!!
Windvd 11 pro does it on its own.
|
|
Yeah one of those are my threads as well. I recently used windvd 11 pro and the video and audio match up perfectly in 3d and 2d mode at 24hz playback.
I'm tired of being jerked around here. I know my system is working fine because another software other than powerdvd 12 ultra is doing it right. Are they not even using 3d tv's or just 3d monitors? I feel like they not exploring all audiences.

Reason i ask is because have my desktop connect to an onkyo surround receiver all by hdmi with the tv outputted.
I am having really bad lip syncing issues when playing blu ray movies at 23hz/24hz where normally the sound is faster than the audio. And please before anyone jumps the gun , i have done my research with delaying the receiver sound and also went a step further and used multiple blu ray software from other companies, such as the latest total media 5 and corel win dvd 11 pro. The only one that has no problem whatsoever is windvd 11 pro. There are zero issues with lip syncing. (only problem is they only default to 24hz playback not 23hz in the nvidia control panel settings, which all i have to do is manually select 23hz)
I've recently downloaded the latest patch for powerdvd 12 ultra and the problem still persists. I do realize and congratulate cyberlink for fixing the automatic refresh rate issue. It really works. OUt of all the programs ive tried they are first finally to get it to work. So props. But so far Windvd 11 pro wins this round. Powerdvd is a cool bit of software and it truly makes the home theater experience better for the end user, for example the iphone or ipad remote is a nice touch. Definitely better than Arcsoft's remote on theirs , and windvd 11 pro's having zero remote capability.
To be honest i really don't understand the problem and why no one has been addressing the issue im having.
I am really curious to how cyberlink is connecting their hardware and software together in which configurations.
Anyone out there with a similar problem like me, please speak up.
Thanks
Matt

This patch or any previous patches sure do not fix the lip sync issue at 23 or 24hz playback.
Its not my hardware because unfortunately Windvd pro 11 plays flawless in the audio visual sync.
I don't understand why this issue cannot be fixed. I just spent 50 dollars on Windvd pro 11 and everything works.
I have purchased the last 3 powerdvd ultras and am very bummed to see all that money spent on their programs do not fix the core performance of blu ray/dvd playback, only to keep adding features i don't need with facebook offerings.
I would like to continue using cyberlinks software only because they make it easy to use and the use of a smart remote with my iphone.
I will talk to your tech support one last time hopefully to be heard. Or else you may now lose a customer.

It's been a while. You guys said it would have been release in summer. It's not anymore
|
|
When is there schedule to fix this problem?
[003] [will fix] auto refresh rate does not support 23,976 correctly ????
Thi has been posted since released and no solution.

You know what I don't get? Cyberlink always ships out a product half working. How can have an option on powerdvd to choose refresh rate playback off disk and not know when you play the video the audio and video are out off sync?
|
|
This has never been correct the audio is faster than the video.
I shouldnt have to time delay the audio manually on the Onkyo receiver right?
Aren't there time delay features in the software.
Are cyberlink getting it right?
I've been reading all over the forums about this. Is a problem. Why not fix it.

Are you talking about the audio track when watching blu rays. I get a high pitch noise in the dts hd and Dolby he formats. Only way to get rid of it is to restart powerdvd.
|
|
Guga I'm using both dolby true hd and dts master audio

Hello Michael thanks for checking on this issue.
Well I just upgraded my graphics to a gtx 680. Which is fully capable of he bitstreaming. I used to have a gt 430 which worked fine. Is there any way you can get a hold of one of the gtx 680. My steps are exactly the same as yours. I fast forward On the iOS remote. Or chapters forward and backward.
My guess is that my new graphics hd audio driver is incompatible with the gtx 680 because this all started when I switched to the new hardware.
This happens on all my titles.
|
|
Michael are you there?
|
|
The hd audio messes up when i fast forward chapters or use the fast forward buttons. Really annoying and the only way to fix it is to restart powerdvd 12. Please look into.
Here are my DXdiag files.
thank you.

Hmm?
Can anyone confirm if you turn off window aero and see if it changes?
And then turn it back on and please test

There needs to be more responses on this forum with administrators. It's been a whole day and no response.
My blu-rays are all washed out looking now. Blah. I'm tired of wasting my money on cyberlink every year. As I can see I'm not the only one having this issue. What the heck happened?
Cyberlink I love your innovative technology but please do your customers a favor and fix these problems.
|
|
Yup this same thing happens and it makes everything look so washed out. I' just watch a couple movies in bluray and there's no way I can fix this. This must of happened with the latest update?
Please fix soon cyberlink.
|
|
Just wondering? Can you better explain what you mean when you say r n d will fix the 23.976 framerate issue ? Do you mean the stuttering in frames?
Thank you
|
|
Well I'm tired! I've purchased the last four Powerdvd.s only to hope for no more stuttering! I was definitely wrong I guess. Cyberlink just come out and say that your software needs to be fixed. I shouldn't need a separate software to fix a problem. Well in my case using reclock removes the ability to play he bitstreaming audio. So that's a no go for me!!!

Michael he is totally right. I get a horrible ghosting when turning on true motion. It's not fluid at all
