Michael he is totally right. I get a horrible ghosting when turning on true motion. It's not fluid at all

I noticed the refresh at 23.976 does indeed work but every couple minutes of so it stutters. Is this what cyberlink is claiming to fix? If so thank you that the r&d team knows about it.

Which graphics company are you running. ? I know if you have nvidia, you need to switch the 3d on manually in nvidia settings and then change the resolution to 3 d res. I hae passive lg too it works fine on mine

So I got power DVD mobile for my android tablet for free with the purchase of powerdvd 11 ultra and now power DVD mobile for apple is only gonna work for powerdvd 12?? I spent twenty dollars for nothing that I will never get back. 12 isn't even out yet and it's downloadable on the app store?
Idk I feel like I just got ripped off?
This is what I get for being a customer for 3 years.
Or can someone tell me if they can run it on power DVD 11 ultra

I'm so tired of this problem. It has never been fixed. 3versions of powerdvd later and still playback is terrible, which I purchased the last three and I'm just out of money. Not cool it's not my hardware!

From my experience freeze issue are mostly caused by HW issue, like faulty RAM or overheating.
For Video playback freeze the issue can be even more complicate to narrow down:
- codec packs that overwrite CyberLink original codecs with cracked ones
- Antivirus solution disturbing PowerDVD when scan
- ODD drive Firmware malfunction
- Drivers not up-to-date
- other third party Software interfering with PDVD
Please do not misundestand me - I believe that you have the issue. But to narrow down to the root cause is some kind of impossible because it is maybe only related to your platform and SW environment.
If you can provide as many info about your platform as possible it would be great.

Michael I do understand what you're saying but just to say all the posts I've ever read about this problem, people have never fixed there issue.
Can this problem exist with a problem being a bluray drive, Sata ports connected to the bluray drive? This is the last thing I can think of. I am working on attaching the diag files soon on the next post.

Michael when you guys test your software at your labs, do you guys get problems with freezes??? It seems like this is an on going problem for some users including my self for a couple of years.

Ok thanks Michael. Now that that's out of the way. I just picked up a gt430. And it says it does bitstreaming. Hd formats. Question is... Looking at the powerdvd info bar it shows audio output. It still shows compressed data. Is it supposed to show uncompressed. Though now my onkyo says dts hd mstr audio.

Hey guys this is my setup. Please explain to me how to enable full lossless audio through hdmi

New onkyo tx-nr709 with full hdmi support. I'm using full hdmi 1.4 cables. Two to be exact. One from the gtx 580 using the hdmi mini out adapter to the reciever and the other from reciever to lg 3d led tv.
I don't know what to select in the menus. Can someone please help me get this going.

I totally agree guys. I have a 120 hz. Tv and it is reckless with this software. It doesn't play smoothly with the TVs processor. I've had the last three powerdvds and this has always been a problem

The app crashes constantly. I can connect for a short while then it crashes and closes. I also can't play any of my videos or pictures through my devices ? it just doesn't find them. Everything used to work?! Please fix hasn't worked it months!

Alright guys enough with the bashing of cyberlink. Just to let you guys in that powerdvd is not the only software having a problem running star wars. The same things are happening on Arcsoft Totalmedia 5 player. I don't even think they've even found a work around for theirs ok. Leave these guys alone they are working on a patch. Its FOX company and their drm coding.
