Select pics in the timeline with any technique (Ctrl LMB, Shift LMB, click and drag with bounding box,...) and then RMB and select Set Clip Attributes > Set Duration... All selected pics will get the new defined duration and clips moved to accommodate new duration.
Jeff
Makes sense but what are RMB and LMB?

I'm doing a slide show type of presentation...
Several still images in a row, no fade out needed.
Completed it without difficulty, but wondered...
If I was to do one with several dozen photos,
not all displaying for the same amount of time,
is there a quick way to change the time display for
the ones that share the same display time in one fell swoop
without going through changing preferences?
Say there's 2 dozen at one rime setting and one dozen at another...
A project will be coming up soon...
While I'm thinking of it...
Is it possible also to apply fade in/out to an entire line of scenes with one pass?
Any help appreciated.

Thanks guys.
Much good info there..!
Once I get to the point where a signature is allowed, perhaps it
would be a good idea to put all my system specs in it.
Helps eliminate confusion I would assume...

Transitions in the transition room ready for use, I understand you say? As far as I am aware PD can hold all transitions and effects, particles etc, available in the various rooms.
Why do you ask?
My question was based in a conversation concerning my habit of downloading everything.
Someone told me I would bog down the system or program.
I'm thinking that if the program can handle it, the hard drive has enough space, it shouldn't be a concern...
|
|
That fixed it! Thank you

Is there some liitation to how many transitions or effects any user
can have within the PD program?
Or, is that number determined by the computer's available memory?

In order to paste active links on the forum, you have to uncheck the "disable" boxes below the text box:
Click on the Edit button below your OP and make the changes then click on Submit.
For your main request, it looks like you're running Win7 and the icons all look correct for Effects Extractor, but something's wrong if you're not seeing the Open With dialog that people in the other post showed you. See if this post helps.
I am running Windows 10

I asked this once in a topic
(https://forum.cyberlink.com/forum/posts/list/84490.page)
but bundled it with another query that got answered, sort of...
The section that remains unanswered is...
Is there any process by which multiple files can be installed?
I tried to select all,
then use the RUN or OPEN command.
Neither command displays.
Image is at:

Help would be appreciated.

Yeah it would be good if you could dedicate a track for just the microphone and it stayed there.
I might look at adding a suggestion to the programers.
I like that idea!

Got it!
Thanks so much.

Thanks in advance for being so patient with me
I used chromakey to transfer the background from Pink to Black
So far so good
That much I did without causing a major malfunction
Now, to put a static background on it...
Or should I have changed the Black background to transparent (if possible)

Will there ever be / is there
an Application Manager
for standalone (Not Subscription) versions of PD such as 18 & 19?
|
|
Quote
Do you have the subscription version (365) or the standalone version?
The application manager is only for the subscription version.
It would help if you could let us know what you are looking for exactly, it's not clear from your posts.
Ahhhhhhhh
PD 19 standalone
darn

Just recently purchased PD 19
Downloaded and installed Application Manager within the last hour
It does not recognize that I have PD 19 installed.
The message I get is:
You haven't installed any of your programs yet, or they are currently hidden.
OD 18 is up and running as it displays this message.

I have stumbled upon a wonderful animation
which I plan on using in the future.
A bird in flight against a bright pink background.
My question is, 0
to use it on top of a static background,
do I alter this Pink to Green or ...?
Can this be done in PD or need I seek elsewhere?

Is it just me or are others seeing this?
Upon entry to the forums,
it seems as if every other click brings up an advertisement

Got it!
Appears I had just been applying transitions incorrectly.
Fixed file example:

What about installing with one click?
I tried selecting all in a folder,
then selecting the OPEN or RUN command.
Neither command showed.
