When you select the area you want to "Produce a range", look on top of the timeline between the Media Libary and the timeline, you will see a button labeled Produce Range.

You can also Right Click the orange range, Produce Range.

HI,

I have PD 15 and wanting to also only save the clips I have chosen from the full movie.

I use the markers as your images suggest but cannot see anything about 'Producing a Range'.
The Whole Menu above the Timeline has different options as well.

Am I able to do this please in 15?

I have 15 and need to know how to stop the cursor from going back to the start whenever I press stop in editing.

It stays there with pause but I need it to stay there with stop too.

HI,

I have Win 10m 1803 x64

I have Bluff Titler 10.2 but it requires d3dx9-34.dll directx9 but I have 12.

Directx9 does not work with directx 12 so my program doesn't work.

They say my option is to update Bluff Titler $60 or go back to directx9.

I do not know what going back means to my other programs.

What to do?

Maybe another titlet like Bluff?

Hi,

This is my multi project. (Manual sync)

1. Audio track (mp3 song)

2. Cam 1 lipsyncing to song

3. Cam 2 lipsyncing to song (dif angle)

4. Variety of images crossfaded to be chosen every now and then

I have everything in the regular timeline and synced but when I go to multi I cannot get my images in.

How can I get them into the multi editing please?

Also my cam 2 video does not start at the 00.00 mark but maybe 30 secs in to timeline to sync up.

When it gets into the multi mode, it starts at 0.0 so it is out of sync. I treid to split it in the multi panel but split is faded.

What is the best way for me to approach this?

Yes I know what you mean..so much timeline time is wasted trying to get things to work, maintenance or waiting while they happen..

Doh !! I thought I did have Shadow enabled in Prefs but on checking now found it wasn't ticked.
I did tick it now but maybe it's oo late to use it.

Hi,

I used a file from my FDR53 cam..

Orig file was type XAVC S H.264 AVC Bitrate 56.94 Res 3840x216 25fbps 4 mins long

I only have a standard text title in front and joind to it. Nothing else done to it.

I have attached the dxdiag.

I had this is PD 14 forum but now it is still the same after I upgraded to 15.

Hi,

I am editing Win 10 Pro x64 with PD 15 and I have created a static text title for the start.

I inserted a stnadrd text title in front of a 4 minute clip.

Every time I go to play it to see how it looks for time etc., it stops at the join and the audio does not start

After 30 secs or so, it jumps quite a few secs into the clip and the audio starts at the beginning while the cursor is a few secs infront. It goes to normal a few seconds later.

I have never seen this before in PD or any editors I use.

Any suggestions please?

I have many Hi 8 tapes and years ago transferred them years to digital to an 4.3 AVI files 768x576

I would like to do this again but to a higher resolution because of the bigger screens and higher res today.

What would be the beest way to do this please?

Great news!

I bought the Dell Precision T7500 (Heavy box !) and will test the current vid card with 4K.

If no good, will go get the 4GB GTX960.

Does anyone know when PD15 will be out and if there will be much dif than 14.

It seems, everytime I update, a little later the new version comes out and my hands are in the pocket again looking for money!

Would be nice to have some idea to save me going to 14 as it is now on sale, then 15 comes out with vast improvements. :

I see these here at around $250 in Oz.

Hi again,

I have a couple of other Win10 x 64 boxes assigned to other tasks which may do the job.

To see if this one worked, I downloaded the PD 14 trial and tried to load the same clip as before however they don't allow this in the trial version.

How can I try my other boxes without having to reinstall my 13 everytime?

I have plenty of drives too which I would attach too.

I figured the 14 trial would be the best way.

I have attached the dxdiag for this unit.

Hi again,

Okay, here is the DxDiag file zipped.

1. The media was transferred from the AX53 via PlayMemories to a folder on L:\ drive (ext 2TB) then dragged to Library where it works, but doesn't on timeline.

2. The media was dragged directly from the AX53 card to the Library where it works, but also doesn't on timeline.

The smaller 1280x720 with 2.8 bitrate does work properly on Library and Timeline.

I am thinking of upgrading to 64 bit Win10, would that help ?

Thanks Tony. Got me beat too!

Not too sure what to do now.

I tested some previous projects from my Pano GS400 and everything seems to work there okay, so it must somehow be something betwixt the cam and the program.

While I was witing this decided to film using the Dual cam feature where it alos gives a smaller res copy of the 4K.

The 4K once again played in the library but stuck after rendering a fwe secs in the Timeline but the smaller version 1280x720 with 2.8 bitrate worked correctly.

So now it is only the larger res which does not work with me.

Hopefully a little clearer now.
