To add to optodata's post WD has 10,000 RPM HDD (Velociraptor) which is the fastest. The performance diff is significant where the average access times go to 115-120 MB/s and MTF is higher compared to 7200 or 5400 HDD. As Optodata said go for 7200 rpm drives for archiving. I have a 4 TB drive. For faster access go SSD or 10,000 RPM drives especially for HD video editing.

I have installed PD ,directed my Import, export and shadow files to other drive than C; my C drive is just 128 GB SSD

Solution
Uninstalled PD suite. Re-installed Ultimate. Re installed PD suite minus Power director.

Thank you garoich7. Will need just colour director. Have wave editor by default and audacity for audio. I use paint.net for png and acdc for photo shopping. serves my purpose quite well.

To add to the post above "programm data folder" is hidden. To make it visible one has to go to control panel > folder options > view > Show hidden files"

I ran "Advanced system care pro 7.1" which is cleaner optimizer utility and that solved the issue

Does not download. The downloader finishes and says dwnload completed. The patch is not seen in the downloaded location. Where is the problem
