Excellent followup!

I had the good fortune of a copy of that build, thru a friend.

I have also rolled back to 2227c. My issue was mostly confined to video avi clips when I applied anti-shake. Big hiccups. It also seemed to make the Magic Motion (applied to images) a little less smooth.
Not sure if the cure was the rollback, or removing excessive application of anti-shake.

The jumping issue is under the microscope now.

I am having hiccups on produced videos. The hiccups are happening to video clips, avi's to be exact. I have a somewhat low powered machine but this has not happened before, to this degree.
Anyone getting skips FROM video files using 2429a?
I may need a link to 2227c!

You can place video into a pip timeline and make it do whatever you wish. The Magic Motion designer used for images,is fundamentally the same as the pip motion designer which works for both images and video.

I've been at this for years. Now I am using
a lowly Core2Duo 1.6 on a laptop
integrated graphics and 2 gig of memory. It works.
This is really a bare minimum. But, I can do anything except hi def, if you're gonna go hi def, buy the most computer you can possibly afford.

Edit>Preferences>General(tab)>untick "show sound waveform"
That should do it!

If you have already started a project and tried to change the aspect ratio, you know you cannot.
However, here is a very valuable trick...
Open your project icon using NOTEPAD.
You will then see the scripting of your project,
it's a set of instructions for PowerDirector to assemble your project's files.
Look in the first few lines and you will come to ...
ASPECTRATIO "TRUE" or ASPECTRATIO "FALSE"
If you change one to the other it will change the aspect of your project!
This is a must to know.

4 or 5 hours?
I hope you have a bicycle basket is full of popcorn!
First off, I bet you can edit at least 30% right out. That's a good start.
Then, do what RJ says!

I use a Canon SD800IS for 75% of my shoots.
As of now, I have had no issues with the files.

If you are going to post on the internet, you may want to consider reconversion to FLV for longer videos.
|
|
No, maybe in PowerProducer. Better to make 2 versions. A DVD folder does not take up a whole lotta shelf space!
|
|
Use "Create Disc"
At the bottom, tick "create disc without a menu"
The susbsequent disc should loop.

I can't believe you mentioned this. Last night I was working on just such a technique for a little something Dafydd asked me to do. It proved to be impossible.

It seems my Title Effect called "solo Jump" falls
Oddly enough, my Title Effect labeled "solo fall" jumps.
Could be a typo. An earlier PD had a title "Around The Wrold"

Well,
this money-hoarding American seconds the vote!

Welcome,
First, did you join SMWOV? Most likely yes, just checking.
You must make the movie file first, then upload that file. PDS files are just the roadmaps for the program to assemble the various bits and pieces of your project.
Stick with normal letters and numbers when naming the file.
Did you render to FLASH? You will be amazed at how smooth a video can run if you convert it to FLASH. Use PD to create the MPEG2 file, then use WM converter to go FLASH (FLV).
EXTRAS!
* "Videolan" player, it would play a piano if you could jam it in there!
* "WM Converter" for beginner at video file conversions, "Super" or
"Pazera" if you are more advanced.
* "Paint.net" photo/image editor
* Most of the other EXTRAS are sites for resources.
NOTE: Video editing is a multi-program endeavor

Go ahead, shoot your arrows, I shall catch them as the Ninja do, turning them unto my antagonist!
I meant transition, but effect will do also, I want it all...

Hi Sir D!
Yeh, I WANT to capture individual scenes as mpeg, but the camera runs crazy. This time I captured just mpeg. Mistake. It is making my Fowl video more foul than need be.

How serendipitous,
I was just working on a circle/ring for the same reason!
