Nope...it is not possible in PowerDVD.

Dave
Quote as there are no options available to synchronise them. Other blu-ray players such as aiseesoft do not have this problem with subtitles always perfectly in sync, suggesting the problem is not with my disc but rather the software.

Have you tried using the subtitles delay hotkeys: Ctrl+[ and Ctrl+]?

If that doesn't work for discs, then that points to the issue being with you graphics driver. Make sure they are all up to date. I've never had an issue with subtitles on BD playback

Dave
This doesn't happen for me when playing a movie file or some music. Sound ends when the program closes. There is a second delay for music, but it still does stop. What media are you playing when this happens? Have you rebooted your computer lately?

Dave
Use the hotkey "D" to toggle the on screen display on and off.

Dave
As the message that displays suggests, the effect is designed for faces, so the crop is required. In my experiments with it, the cropping is different between effects, so try selecting different ones.

If you don't like any, try one of the Style ones at the bottom or AI Style Transfer instead.

Dave
No you can't add a playlist to a playlist. I think it's a good suggestion, so you should send it to CL:

Dave
What is "now playing"? Screenshots would help.
version 8 I think. You find on Amazon:

Dave
More likely it is your GPU that is causing the difference between the two computers. Do you know the spec differences between the two computers? Check that the GPU driver is up to date.

I guess it is possible the GPU driver on the Windows 11 machine is not optimized and causing said issue.

Dave
Sounds like auto face detection is enabled maybe. Go to camera settings and turn it off, or switch it to manual zoom.

Hope that helps.

Dave
It should work if the region selected matches the region of the Bluray. Note though that you can only change the region setting 5 times. After that, you are stuck at the last selected region.

0x80040c01 is a Windows-related error code that occurs during 3rd-party software installation, i.e. there is a problem with your Windows installation.

Just Google "0x80040c01" and you will see lots of suggestions on how to fix.

Dave
Have you installed the Powerdvd casting channel on Roku? Check the help:

https://help.cyberlink.com/stat/help/powerdvd/365/pc-mode/enu/05_01_00_casting-media-to-a-st.html

Dave
If you move the movie files to different drives, Powerdvd will think it is a new file, and revert the changes back to the default info downloaded from Moovielive.

If you have to re-install Powerdvd, just make sure you import your personal settings as explained here.

If some Moovielive movie info is wrong or incomplete, just contact Cyberlink about and they should fix it.

Dave
What are trying to cast? A video file? I think you need to have Apple TV/Roku/Chromecast etc. on your network to cast with PowerDVD:

Dave
I got you now. If you need to re-install Youcam 9 on your computer, you need to contact Cyberlink directly to get the installation files for 9. You downloaded the trial version of Youcam 10 it sounds like. So contact CL customer service to get your full version 9 back.

And you are right, I was thinking of something else. Looks like you can only apply smoothening on the face now in live video in version 10.

Dave
How were you "forced"? You have to pay to upgrade to version 10.

Also, the feature you are referring to is still available in the new version. It wasn't removed:

Dave
Password for what? Cyberlink account? User forum? Something else?

Dave
No, you can't add/change the cover art for a playlist or for Cloud videos. It is a good suggestion though. You should send a request to Cyberlink to add in a future version.

Dave
You need to ask Cyberlink that question. This is just the user forum full of Powerdvd users like you. We have no idea.

Dave
I would guess that unfortunately the problem is that Powerdvd 17 doesn't have full Windows 11 support, or support for your Alder Lake CPU/GPU. Both were released well after 2017, and the last patch for version 17 is in 2019.

I assume your GPU driver got auto updated by Windows, which messed with compatibility between the GPU and PDVD.
