Now I use PowerDirector 13 so I can not check but in the past I've never had this problem (I think). I usually do not check on the bitrate of the output file
Quote: thanks already for the quick reply !

Quote: Well, that was what I actually did =-/ and it still reduces it.

Are you telling me that you have created a profile with an audio bitrate and PD produces a video with a different bitrate?
Are you sure? Very strange...
When you produce the video you need to create a custom profile with the audio / video settings you prefer.

Select:
Profile Type: Custom > Click on the "+"

Now enter a name for the profile and choose the settings you prefer (including audio bitrate)
Quote: There is third party software that can extract the frames of the movie into single images.
If you have single images, you can use Photo Editing Software to touch up the images.

This work will make him mad
Working on each frame

But I'm afraid that is the only way

There is also this program : http://bit.ly/1wRuiEY
I updated without any problems using the link in the first post.

Quote: If I select 'Update' within PD13, it shows no available updates, even though there should be.
What gives?

I wondered the same thing.
Maybe the software updates are not released at the same time to avoid overloading the server?

Quote: Hello Kyle & Pais,

I've posted some links to downloadable LUTs here

Thanks
The problem of the LUT is that they work well only with LOG footage.
Using the LUT with my video greatly increases the video noise

I tried to apply video2log_lut and then I produced the video. To the video product I then applied a second LUT but the result is bad.
Too much information is lost and the quality is very bad.
I think that, in some cases, I will just use video2log_lut

Ps : It would be interesting to apply two LUTs in the same video without having to produce. I hope that this opportunity will be added in the future.
If I find something useful I will write here.
The video2log_lut has exactly the purpose of making a flat video.
If you want to try other LUT them are on the same website: http://juanmelara.com.au/downloads/log2hd_cube_luts.zip
I've found others but they are not free
Hi Kyle

I use ColorDirector with PowerDirector and I know that the Split Toning tool is very useful for this purpose.
Do you know a website which explains how to use this tool?
Hi Kyle. Do you like the LUT file?
PhotoDirector is a software very similar to Adobe Lightroom; both software are much simpler than Photoshop, but they are very powerful.
Photoshop is used by photographers, graphic designers, web designers and many other creative people, PhotoDirector is designed for photographers.
With PhotoDirector you can manage the whole "workflow" of your photographs, from capture to print. It is particularly appropriate for the cataloging and development of digital negatives (RAW).
Quote: Thanks. I had forgotten what that looks like. I just recently came across my 2.55 install disc. So many improvements since then.

I started using PowerDirector with version 11, but I was curious to see the origins of this software

Quote: Great! What is that, PD 0.1?

Sorry for the joke
It is PowerDirector 2.0 Pro
I did not find images of PowerDirector 1.0 : http://forum.cyberlink.com/forum/posts/list/40430.page
I installed the latest update and now the GUI has become this

How to return to the previous GUI?

Ok Carl312 , I will do these tests

And a bad review : http://bit.ly/1qC1F8D

Does anyone have screenshots of PowerDirector 1.0?
Quote: Really? Can you make snapshot about this feature?

I tried but then I deleted the video.
I did not do anything special, I put my video in the timeline, and under it a video with alpha channel.
Already visible in the preview was that it worked, then I exported in mp4 and the video was perfect.
Now I have installed the drivers 337.88. How to determine if hardware acceleration is enabled with PD?
It would be really interesting to have the cinema style presets for ColorDirector 3.
Do you know any site which explains these presets? So we can try to replicate it with ColorDirector.
I discovered this tonight....

PLEASE NOTE : For users of NVIDIA cards who have updated to graphics driver 340.43 or later, the video hardware acceleration feature in PowerDirector is no longer available. To re-enable hardware acceleration, please download and install an earlier driver.
