NON COPY RIGHTED MUSIC
[Post New]
I searched and did not find an answer for; Where to get music for background on videos that is not copyrighted? YouTube is strict on this issue. I am looking for some music for a Intro clip I am making. I looked on YouTube, but they have a very poor search for it. Is there a better one? (I will be posting on YouTube)

Thanks Cmax

You can always purchase music.
Some of us here are using SmartSound.
Otherwise, try this:

Sorry, Cmax, I do not convert Super8 reel tapes. There are plenty of places on the net, and you can do it yourself, if you've got time. There are several devices for "short" money that can take a hand-fed film reel that may provide a decent enough quality file, Google reviews, read comments. Good luck. Could you point me in the right direction about the equipment you were taking about? Thanks again, Cmax

If you have a projector, just set it up to shoot on a "white card". Then set up your video camera on a tripod framing the projector image and just shoot it. A white card is just a large piece of white paper or could be a white wall or white sheet. It helps if your projector has a variable frame rate or if your video camera can adjust it's frame rate to reduce film flicker. I've found that keeping the projected image small produces a better video copy.
