sorry steve i should have said i used photo director 18 the free version then realised when i edited it i could not download file to a usb key because of the file it saves itself in the format

You probably saved the PROJECT. You need to have the program out the project to a desired image format.

i did try it but won't let me save it to a usb file I thought it would have

What are the its?

Your original question (and title) asks to compare PowerDirector and photo editor. If you are only interested in editing photos, then your question should have asked about PhotoDirector vs PhotoEditor.

By the way, there is a separate forum for Photo Director. Perhaps you should ask there if you have more specific questions.
Quote Photo editor does have some decent stuff and free

I'd appreciate ur thoughts thanks

It depends on what you want to do with the images.

Try the free trial version of Photo Director 11 (Here) If it is too much for you, stick with the Windows Photo Editor. Note the trial has the full version for 30 days then it reverts to the basic version.
ACG, Have you spoken directly to Cyberlink support? Ask for it. If enough people do (and will pay for it) then they would most probably consider it in furture releases.

As you know, this is a USER to USER forum and very few in any support personnel visit on a regular basis. Certainly no one from engineering and planning come here.

4K HDR from 8mm film?
What flavor is your P2G? P2G 13 will both import and export Flac files. Of course, P2G will import the disc files unless the disc is somehow protected. Have you looked at the help files?

I guess that after rereading your question and looking at your screen shots, I'm confused. Perhaps someone else can help.
You are using a high power audio set up. Can the same be said for your computer. Out of sync is audio is sometimes caused by the computer/audio device not keeping up with the video.

What computer are you using. Do you have anything else running at the same time -- even background application like anti-virus, anti-spam etc. that you don't need to be running. Use Task Monitor to find what is running and start up manager to limit the number of programs that start when you turn off the computer (sorry if I'm suggesting somehting you already do).
Google translated to English:

"Unfortunately, I am unable to select shapes that were created with the internal shape design as an element in the motion tracking.
I tested this with the free test version of the PowerDirector, version 18.2402.0.

It would be the reason for me to buy, because Pinnacle doesn't have an internal shape designer.

Who can answer this question? the service has not yet been able to answer this question."
Perhaps a bit off topic. When you simply delete a program, a lot of files still remail that sometimes gum up the works.

I use the free (or pay for) version of Revo Uninstaller to get rid of most of the stuff left behind. If you are going to try it, use the MODERATE mode only (just to be safe).
Look at the near end of the dxdiag.exe report.

Looks like you have a lot of issues with freemake. Are the files you are trying to play are made with/ translated with that software?

You also have some issues with Windows including a blue screen event.
You may not be able to: The help menu says this: " CyberLink Power2Go lets you edit some of the disc menu’s properties. (emphasis mine).

It goes on to talk about editing text, music, adding a filrst play video, etc..

Yes, it copied them to the form where I entered them, but they are not put into the output CD. How do I get them to be copied to there?

Ok, now I'm confused and perhaps others are also. Do you want a label with the track titles or do want the song titles to be displayed when you play the discs?

The abillity to get the titles displayed on your player depends on your player and the format of the diplay file. NOT all players have the ability to display the titles.

This is from the Help file

5.If required, click the Edit button to set the disc's audio quality, add CD-Text, and more. If creating an audio CD, see Audio CD Preferences. See MP3/WMA Disc Preferences if creating an MP3/WMA music disc.

Perhaps it is time to look at the P2G help files or use Google (or other) search for more in depth discussion.
Quote Does anyone know of a vendor of forms for printing labels for CDs? Presumably they would have a "sticky" layer that would be peeled off so the label could be affixed to the CD. How about a MS WORD template for formatting the CD title and track titles? The PRINT LABEL interace of POWER2GO is pretty good, but I don't see a way to print to anything but plain paper.

Thanks for any ideas! SweetTasha.

What printer do you have? many have a built in disc printer - no need for a separate program. The printer probably came with a program to print discs. You will need to buy printable discs.

In the past, I used surething label maker. They have 3 levels and a free trial. Go here.

I think what tomasc was referring to was the tendency of the labels to peel off in higher speed players (discs) like the ones he mentioned. It was a real issue trying to get those peeled off labels out of the slots/trays/internals.
Quote Can I use an H.264 video clip as an Intro?

To what data disc, Video disc (BR, DVD, file, Cd, etc.)? Please expaln more in depth information.

Have you tried it? What happens.

It is always good to have a few RW discs available to try or just in case,
Quote Hi,

I have a licensed version of Power2Go8 Platinum and my computer just crashed. I have reinstalled Windows but need to reinstall Power2Go8.

Is there a site where I can go to download the software for this version ?

That version sounds like it was a teaser piece of software that came free with your computer. If so, contact your computer manufacturer to get a new download.

Alternately, the FREE version of Power2Go has a lot of older functions. You can download that and use the full functionality for 30 days. After 30 days, the program will still work but you lose some of the super features. features.
Quote My previous PD12 was not unistalled by PD18 and is functional. Uninstalling PD12 at this point could cause any problems? Thanks.

Not really, what needed to be uninstalled was. I have several versions (incl 12, 17 and 365) on my computer just to be able to try different things.

Edit : BTW - you may lose some of the features in PD 12 that are not available in PD 18. but do work in PD 18.

If you have the computer space, keep both active.

2nd edit; I read the original post as Rolando has purchased PD 18 and installed it. The question relates to parts of PD 12 not unistalled when PD 18 was installed.
Quote I see the 365 version, but where's the download for the stand alone PD18 Ultimate?

Looks like it is not available for download. The Ultra is available as part of the suite with PhotoDirector.
...and ?

For a reasonable answer with your minimum input , contact Tech Service @ Cyberlink or OFX.

Remember this is a users group and perhaps no one has needed to use it yet.
Quote Is this plug-in usable in PowerDirector 17?

Is it listed as being compatible? Isn't it more of a modifier for plug-ins?

Why do you need it?

For best result, tell us more.

Put as much time into your question as you expect the person replying to spend providing the answer.
Quote Hi everyone,
I'm trying to contact support through the page https://membership.cyberlink.com/support/service/technical-support.do
Unfortunately it is impossible to do it (at least I can't).

The reason is that you cannot select the questions in the "Question Type" field.

Can you do it?

Thanks

Are ou registered and is the contact information that is pre filled in correct? I have the same issue so it may be broken. Perhaps one of the "experts" here can help.

Make sure you describe the issue and give the full specifications on your computer (Windows dxdiag.exe>0. Use this as a guide)
Quote I have a NVIDia Geoforce 1060 6gb. My PDVD 19 has developed a stutter in both the audio and video. This just started about a month ago.
I am running Win 10.
Has anyone else mdealt withn this issue and if so how did you fix it.

A little about me, I am an old man and not really an electronics genius, If you do reply PLEASE keep the info as non-technical as possible.

I'm also an old man also BUT age has nothing to do with it. When was the last time you did mainentance on your computer -- deleted programs you don;t use, empty trash, limited the number of application running at one time, etc.?

Since you are running windows 10, please post the dxdiag.txt file evaluation on your computer. Just use Windows search for that term and follow the directions. The ONY PERSONAL imformation in the dxdiag.exe txt file is what you named your computer.

It will tell us about the conditions of your hard drive, the information on your drivers, and also any issues that have caused an error.
Quote I'm trying to get PowerDVD 19 to log into Cyberlink Cloud but I always get a "The account or password is incorrect" error message.

I can log into the member zone, the application manager and MoovieLive with the same credentials just fine (as evident by my post here). My member zone also shows my active Cyberlink Cloud storage.

Is there anything I can do in an attempt to resolve this?

Didn't you get a message that the site may be down? I just tried @9:25 and got that message.

If you have incorrect log-in information, try changing your password.
