I appreciate you assistance. I have tried to locate the p/n 02RG8J on ebay with no success. Maybe I am using the wrong p/n . Any other suggestions?
I am not sure what you mean by "software BD player". I found reference that the Blu-ray player was MATSHITABD-RE UJ240AF 1.00. It was provided on my Dell Laptop computer.
I have created a Blu-ray disc for my Christmas video, using PD 10. The disc auto plays OK on my Panasonic Blu-ray player for my TV, but will not do so on my computers Blu-ray player where the disc was burned. Also, the discs created before I reinstalled the windows operating system 7 no longer play on the computer. I have tried to change the auto play settings on the computer to no avail. Any help would be appreciated.
Using your guidance I can now burn an AVCHD disc using ImgBurn. I followed the guide from ImgBurn "How to write a Blu-ray Video disc using ImgBurn" and simply inserted a DVD disc instead of a Blu-ray disc.
Many thanks,
I did use Power Director to burn a disc and to make a folder. Now I want to make more AVCHD discs using the folder. I have used IngBurn for this purpose on DVD and Blu ray discs, but couldn' find a way to do it from the folder using Power Director.
I have created an AVCHD folder using PD10 Ultra. Can I burn an AVCHD disc using ImgBurn? I can't find guides for doing this.
After many attempts and several coasters, I was able to burn a DVD disc of a 20 minute video using PD 10. I produced a good quality disc when I changed the recording speed from 24.0 to 8.0 and disabled programs such as skype. This may have been coinsidental but prior to the change, the video was choppy and hesitant.

Incidently, I preventred future coasters by creating a folder witthout burning a disc and then making sure the Video-TS.IFO file played glitch free and then burning the disc using IMGBurn.
Yes, I found some graphic elements were touching. I seperated them per you suggestion and was able to proceed and create a disc. Thanks for your help. Without it I probably would have spent much time and frustration.
I have produced a 17 minute video in PD10, ultra. When I try to create a disc and select burn in 2D, I get a notice "Either a menu thumbnail (menu caption) or navigation buttons are currently overlapping. Try adjusting them for disc format."
Can anybody explain what causes this and how I can correct it.
I have 4 chapters in the timeline with the first at the beginning of the video.
Any help would be appreciated.
My HD video came from a Cannon AVCHD camcorder. The completed video is about 17 minutes long wiith many still images. It plays fine on the timeline. When produced and played on the Media Player it is choppy with many hesitations. I have disabled the the fast video rendering (SVRT) but the problem continues. The best results came from MPEG-4, however the quality didn't seem as good as the H264 AVC format and the volume was significantly decreased. I would like to know the settings I need to get the best quality video.

The properties of the imported video is Type: H264 AVC, Resolution: 1440 X 1080, Frame rate: 29.97 fps: and Frame type: Interlaced.

I am using a new Dell Laptop with the following specifications:
Windows Home Premium 64 bit with 8GB of RAM
Intel i7-2630QM processor
NVIDIA GeForce GT 550M 1GB graphics
750GB 7200 RPM SATA Hard Drive
PD10 ultra with build 1129b
Thanks for your help on saving my Projects. I was able to recover my lost or deleted PDS file by using the AutoSave files which I located by placing AutoSave in "Search programs and files" in the start menu.
I am unable to open my project under PD10. I may have deleted it inadvertantly. My preferences are set to Auto Save every 10 minutes. Can this be used to restore the PDS file? Any help would be apreciated.

The same hard drive and partitian contains both the video files and PD10.
I resolved the green screen problem by trurning off "Enable hardware decoding" in the Hardware Acceleration of Preferences. I hope this does not adversely affect the use of the program.
Thanks for your help. I will consider your suggestions if the problem returns.
When I move items from the library (which were imported from a media folder) to the timeline, the preview sscreen turns green.
How do I correct this?
