I have produced a 17 minute video in PD10, ultra. When I try to create a disc and select burn in 2D, I get a notice "Either a menu thumbnail (menu caption) or navigation buttons are currently overlapping. Try adjusting them for disc format."
Can anybody explain what causes this and how I can correct it.
I have 4 chapters in the timeline with the first at the beginning of the video.
Any help would be appreciated.

You used menu designer to modify a template where one or more graphic elements are touching or overlapping. Unfortunately PD does not give you a good idea of where this "touch" occurs, but you can start by making more space between your graphics on the template.

Yes, I found some graphic elements were touching. I seperated them per you suggestion and was able to proceed and create a disc. Thanks for your help. Without it I probably would have spent much time and frustration.
