My HD video came from a Cannon AVCHD camcorder. The completed video is about 17 minutes long wiith many still images. It plays fine on the timeline. When produced and played on the Media Player it is choppy with many hesitations. I have disabled the the fast video rendering (SVRT) but the problem continues. The best results came from MPEG-4, however the quality didn't seem as good as the H264 AVC format and the volume was significantly decreased. I would like to know the settings I need to get the best quality video.

The properties of the imported video is Type: H264 AVC, Resolution: 1440 X 1080, Frame rate: 29.97 fps: and Frame type: Interlaced.

I am using a new Dell Laptop with the following specifications:
Windows Home Premium 64 bit with 8GB of RAM
Intel i7-2630QM processor
NVIDIA GeForce GT 550M 1GB graphics
750GB 7200 RPM SATA Hard Drive
PD10 ultra with build 1129b
