Maybe try using the Ctrl key while clicking on the edge of clip, a double arrow will appear, expand or contract to change video speed.

Jeff

I didn't know that. Thanks Jeff that does help.

Any idea about previewing a clip?

Thanks again
Hi, looking for some help.

In the image I have
attached is my nearly completed video.

But there are changes I want to do. For example change the video speed on one clip.
But I do not want to change the position of any other clip. Its very synced to the audio track.

How can this be done? The only way I have managed to do this is too drag the clip to
another track. Lock my main track, change the speed, adjust the trim,
and unlock the main track and drag back. Seems a long winded way.
I understand the clip length will change. But would like a trim
to fit if longer and leave a blank space if shorter. (Maybe that’s
a message to Cyberlink if its not there)

Which leads on to my
other question, I use the lower tracks to hold clips I may not use.
But how do I view them. PD has two modes of play, Clip and Movie
mode. Except clip mode doesn’t allow you to view a clip if the track
is disabled (Which sort of makes sense.) I would have thought the
track disabled stops the clips playing in movie mode, but if a clip
is selected it should be playable in the main view. I am sure there's
a setting for this but I can’t see it.

Many Thanks
Thanks Steven.

I resaved the clip so that it peaks at 21db max,
there is still a small distortion on the very high notes, but pushing down the high frequecy seems to fix it.

I will go with that.

Thanks
Hi all.

When I apply reverb to a paino wav or mp3 it distorts the sound.
Any ideas?

Many thanks

Mark
Thanks Jeff

It would be good if CyberLink were to include a keyboard option to buttons on the page.

Thanks for your help.

Mark
Hi,

There is an option to "view entire video" does anyone know what the keyboard shortcut is for that?

Many Thanks
My issue is fixed after watching this video.

Thanks.
Hi all,
After producing a 4k 30fps video it does a stange thing. a few seconds of the clip being OK, and then a few secondss of the clip being slightly darker. Throughout the video it will do this for each clip.

If I produce the video in 2k its fine.
The orginal clip are all OK.

I suspect its my PC spec. I include the DxDiag.txt file for someone to advise if possable.

Many Thanks

Hi JB2012
When I select Magic Motion for my image. Select Zoom out motion style, then select Motion designer.
On the first keyframe I can move the box, and resize it at will, I then go to the last keyframe and select the whole image.

Seems to work well.
Is this what you your doing, and perhaps I didn’t understand your query.

Mark
hi jakobigfoot

Sorry I cannot help here, i too have found testing lightning adjustment under keyframes-Fix/Enhance, does not apply the effect gradually, but just switches the effect amount as soon as it gets to the keyframe marker, yet other effects under Fix/Enhance do.

Don't know if this is a bug or just a limitation.

Sorry this is of no help other than its not peculair to your install.

Mark
hi wh7262

WOW this is the exact opposite to what I found in this post, below
If you have time read through this, I have a support tickets on this.
I will look again on your post in the morning and try and copy it

Hi
Not an expert on the rendering side at all, and have never burned to blu ray, but in PD10 under Produce there are lots of options regarding the Quality.
Sorry, not much of a rely this one.

Mark
Hi Loveclose
I think you need to set the "preview in the media viewer" to a higher quality.

See picture attached

Cheers

Hi
Just a small input here, I have had, on occasion, issues with mp3 files, and converting them to WAV files always worked for me.
My issues were corruption of the audio when playing in PD10, which I know is not your problem here, but a conversion, may work.

You may have already tried this as ynotfish said about trying different file types.
Sorry it’s not much.

Hi HighRise955

I confirm I have found the same, setting the rotation in the PIP screen applies it to all the keyframes.
But what I have found is, if you use the PIP screen to set up the direction of your object first, then goto the Keyframes settings editing screen, you can then use the rotation setting as you need by keyframe.
Seems you have to use two different editing screens to achieve the desired result.

Hi wh7262

Many thanks for all our effects.

To be honest the shape of the object is not important here, it was just an example, the problem is the path that the object takes.
If you load the example project I uploaded and select Keyframes, move to the 2nd keyframe and change the Opacity the path changes.

Sorry if I miss lead you, with my wording of a circle object, which is in fact elliptical shaped as you say.

Again thanks for looking into this.

I have every hope that the PD developers will fix this, but as other users have pointed out, the above change can be also be achieved by using the PIP designer, just that the screen size is a lot smaller.

Thanks

Mark

Hi wh7262

The tech support replied to my submission with,
“I escalated your previous email and will respond to it, once I get response from the concern team.”

So hopefully it will all fixed soon

Thanks
Mark
Hi

Thanks to all for testing my findings.
I have now submitted this to tec support

Thanks again

Mark
Lots of thanks ynotfish

I thought I was alone with this.

Do you think this is a job for CyberLink support IT people?

Many thanks

Mark
Hi

Thanks 1Nina for your post, I don't know if they are the same problem, but
I have attched an example project to see if others can replicate the problem I get with the PiP object.

Once loaded, please select the PiP object within the timeline.
Click the Keyframe button, then in the Keyframe Settings, drop down Clip attributes.
Move to the next keyframe so the red ball is sitting at the top of the screen.
Change the Opacity value, and for me the Object path changes.
To my mind it should remain as a circle.

Any Ideas

Many Thanks

Mark
