Hi
Thanks 1Nina for your post, I don't know if they are the same problem, but
I have attched an example project to see if others can replicate the problem I get with the PiP object.
Once loaded, please select the PiP object within the timeline.
Click the Keyframe button, then in the Keyframe Settings, drop down Clip attributes.
Move to the next keyframe so the red ball is sitting at the top of the screen.
Change the Opacity value, and for me the Object path changes.
To my mind it should remain as a circle.
Any Ideas
Many Thanks

Wondering if anyone has had a chance to look into this?

Hi
Please, some help if you can.
I am changing the opacity of a Key Frame, and in doing so, it changes the path of the object curve.
If you look at the before picture I attach, this is how the path of the object should take.
As soon as I change the opacity for the key frame, the path alters as seen in the After picture.
Is PD10 meant to do this?, is there a setting so it doesn't do it.
Also, do you know why the Values for opacity, h scale, W scale are disabled, only the sliders work.
Many Thanks

Hi
I just unlinked audio and deleted the audio and got the error.
In the end i just muted the audio and carried on.
I dont really expect any help with this, just to posted a RTE, hoping that it would attract a PD developer to the fact.
I reported to PD10 people a report of the error, guess they know what gets sent when it errors occurs.
PD10 is OK it's just a bit buggy some time's , but that's OK it can only get better.

Hi again.
I was hoping you could recommend an IFO reader/Editor.
I am having problems viewing the data stored in the IFO file to do a compare between the working DVD and the NON working DVD.
Many Thanks

hi
I already have PAL selected as i am in the UK, is there anywhere else this needs setting?
See images attached
Many Thanks
Mark

Hi ynotfish
I really think it is something to do with the creation of the VOB files and mpeg conversion compatibility, and may be PAL
I really don't know.
But it was suggested to try many things, and I thought, lets go outside of the box and try something different!
Same Hardware, same disks, same source files.
To buy AVS is another £50 which I don't want to get in to.
PD10 must be able to create a disk, that works for me ........... Please
Thanks very much for your continued help with this.

Hi
OK I think I know what is happening here, and I need PD10 people to help, please.......
Within PD10 I product two mp4 files, these are my movies I’m trying to create a DVD for.
Within PD10 I create a new project and add these file to it and create a DVD, it will NOT play on my DVD player. (See pre posts)
In fact using the example movie within PD10 doesn't either. (See pre posting)
NOW here is the change....
I used AVS Video converter 8.1 and imported the same MP4 files and created a disk, and WOW it worked.
So what is happening here?
On AVS you can select DVD PAL High Quality (HQ 60/108 min. at 1 DVD/DL DVD Disk)
This is what I selected.
Very straight forward.
But I don't want to use AVS, I want to use PD10, it’s so great a product, just the DVD bit not working for me.
Does this give you any more ideas?
I would love to here your thoughts?
Many Thanks
Mark
PS: please don’t say use AVS, PD10 must be able to do this

Well many thanks for all you have tried to help.
It seems to me that when the VOB file is created to is not compatable with my DVD player, well at least the VOB file that is the whole movie, becase the title intro menu is also a VOB file and that plays OK, and plays the movie as a preview, so somthing is being created to the correct format.
If only i knew what was the difference in the the title VOB file, and the others were.
and becasue the first VOB file plays, it makes me think the burn proess is OK! I dont know really.
It does seem that I need to play about some more.
again many thanks for all your help.
Regards
Mark

Hi again
I pulled out the manual for my DVD, and this is what it says for Recorded Disks
DVD-R/RW Finalized Version 1.1 of the DVD Video Recording Format
DVD-R DL Finalized Version 1.2 of the DVD Video Recording Format
Do you think, anyone, that the Version 1.1. or 1.2 is an issue here, do you know what version PD10 make's it's DVD's
Thanks

Hi Dafydd Bevan
Many Thanks for your reply.
Ran tests as instructed using the Nature.mpg
Both tests ran Ok, with a Burn successful msgbox.
Test1: Created a Folder call My Video/AUDIO_TS and VIDEO_TS.
AUDIO_TS folder is empty
VIDEO_TS folder has the files;
VIDEO_TS.BUP
VIDEO_TS.IFO
VIDEO_TS.VOB
VTS_01_0.BUP
VTS_01_0.IFO
VTS_01_1.VOB
Test2: create a DVD, when played on my DVD player I see the monopoly board and it displays a moving preview of the Nature.mpg
Selecting play only plays 2 second worth of sound and no movie.
Only extra message I received was when adding the Nature.mpg to the timeline is said it was conveting the file to PAL from NTSC, I dont get this with my video files.
I don't know if that tells you anything.
Many Thanks again

Hi KentuckyRandy
Just tried creating DVD without menu, but the same.
Just plays 2 second worth of sound then skips to the next Video, 2 seconds of sound then stops
Thanks

Hi
just tried a DVD+R, with no luck, just the same.
I did try creating mpeg2 files and then import them into a new project, and create a DVD, but no luck.
Errrrrrr...
But thanks for your ideas, today I will see what plays on my friends DVD

Hi ynotfish
Yes I created the DVD to a folder only.
Then used imgburn to create the disk, single image
It created an ISO first, then from that I created a disk.
..... This is what I’m thinking,
When I play the DVD it plays the menu just fine, and that as far as I can see is
VIDEO_TS.VOB, which plays the menu and previews the start of the videos just fine, 5 seconds worth etc.
But when you select it to play the Whole Video
VTS_01_1.VOB
or
VTS_02_1.VOB
it errors, just plays the first 1-2 sec's of it then moves on to the next chapter seen.
There must be something in that VOB that it doesn't like.
Mark
PS Got some DVD+R today and will try them in the morning, can't do it now as wife is watch TV!......
