Thanks: I did find it, As Tony suggested I loaded my downloaded menus into a SD car (then transferred thnm to a pocket drive) the menus are there, subfolders show OK how do I get them into PD9 with Windows 7? I tried import file, but they just load into the program like any other video or still image
Ok Got the menus on an SD card also on a hard drive, how do I get them into PD 9?

Thanks in advance
Thanks Tony, I sound this again, seems I did a search and could not find it, possibly on the wrong page? will search do all the topics or just search within the topic?

Thanks again, I am transfering files to a SD card as we speak, hope it works
Must be me I had my favorite DVD menu on this comp, now it seems to have disappeared?? I still have it on my other comp, is there a simple way to transfer it to this comp or can someone help find it on the site? It was a menu where the pages fllipped and the video played on each page while flipping, could not find it on my search with my user name either?

I am definately going to buy PD 9 love it, but will wait a little while, still using the freebie, are there more features on the purchased PD9? that the trial does not have?
Thanks for the reply: No I just would like PD to be in the drop down menu so when I would click it it would open just like when I click the icon on my desktop

When I "Browse" and other then click Power Director it just opens files within the PD software like menus. and other items

Here is what I am trying to do

Evidently the experts often forget the basics??

Seems sort of stupid that 7 would not have the same procedure as XP
THANKS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Quote: Hi Dick,
I cant comment on the "deal" but would suggest you go for the download and then you burn to disc yourself. Faster in the end.

Dafydd

Sounds great, do you have a prepared sheet with
innstructions as to how that is done?

THANKS Dafydd
I have seen 15% and a free pack of templates would that deal be available with a hard copy? I would expect to pay mailing of course

For Power Director 9
Nina: Woild be great to see a worded list of your procedures you are an artist
Thanks You for the reply!!

On my old comp with WinXP if I click on a picture, say from Picasa, I get a drop down menu, with "open with" then a list of programs to open with, on the XP computer Power Director is included, on this computer with Win 7 it is not, is there a way to get Power Director on that list in this computer??

Thanks in advance
I really like the ones with scrolling typed instructions too, as are on some other youtube instructional lessons
list on my computer??
Thanks all!! I am getting a little used to 9 now and combined with my new comp 9 is Fabulous and FAST FAST FAST
PD9 working like a dream now, FAST amazingly fast between my new comp and PD9
Thanks: I saw that, but am looking to buy at the discounted upgrade price, I would think that download price plus five bucks for the disk would work for both the customer and the company
draging the clips and entering them from the left eliminates the blanks for me, don't know why 9 works that way, I am sure there are importnt issues that are an improvement over pd8
Sorry for the lack of info guys, it was AV1 the first block at the top in poiduction, and then in the screen at the right

I removed and reinstallede 9, seems to be better now

Thaqnks again

Would screen resolution do anything? I have a 2 gig ATI Radeon 5570 card
Have 8 but would like a hard copy of nine, is it avaiable at upgrade price on this site?
Videos are fuzzy, is it my screen resolution, they seemed to be OK yesterday, what could I have done, I am pulling older video from various USB drives and a HP poclet meda drive, comp is a HP Intel i7 quad with 2gig ATI card
