Got a new comp, how do I find the effects, templates, DVD menus etc that I downloaded to my old computer, is there a way to get them all on the new comp quickly?

I am particularly interested in getting my favorite menu with the motion flipping pages with morion video, I posted a pic here, did a search with my forum name, couldn't find it here?

Thanks in advance

Hi there -

The standard menus for PD are kept at C:\Program Files (x86)\CyberLink\PowerDirector\Menus.

Customised/Downloaded menus are kept at C:\Users\Your Name\Documents\CyberLink\Custom Menus - stored in subfolders.

All you need to do is copy the files to a flash drive & transfer them to you new PC.

Custom PiP Objects, Titles & motion paths are kept at C:\Users\Your Name\Documents\CyberLink\PowerDirector\8.0 (in case you need that too).

Cheers - Tony

I guess it would be simpler to just find the menu in director zone first where would I look?

It seems that the lost menu is the only one with flipping pages with live video on it, it is not modifyable, what words do I need to use for search?

It would seem to be a great customer service if upon downloading PD 9 the customer should be asked if they want to transfer their favorite menus, etc to PD 9

Seems the right command in the software would make that very easy to do
