It looks like you have the timeline editing mode set as 16:9. When set to 4:3, PD15 should ceate the DVD as 4:3.
Thanks, just tried that and ddin't worked either. I'm trying to capture something from a website. I'll try different browser.

Tried 3 different browsers , didn't make a difference. I noticed the Realtek Control Panel app missing. Went back to R2.81. Still no Control Panel app. I wrote their tech support. I'm still getting 7.1 sound though.
And one of the first things I installed after Win 10.
Tried every setting on and off. Still doesn't capture audio
Thanks, but setting the Stereo Mix levels makes no difference. Have Already tried that. I have no microphone so Stereo Mix is Default device. I'll have to try somethign else.
I have no default recording device. I have Realtec on mobo setup with 7.1 speakers (analog output). SCreen Capture should capture any sound coming from the audio output.
Using Windows 10 on 4K TV as my monitor. I've tried several times using different settings. PD15 screen capture does not capture the system audio.
Is that the one made by Diamond? It should have come with it's own capture software. Use that to capture the file. Then import to PD15.
Recently upgraded to 4K TV. Would like to see support for 4K Bluray burning on single, dual, triple and quadruple layer Bluray disc. These burners and discs are now available although pricey.
Quote I f one has the equipment, like a 4K tv and a camera to match, it would be a shame not take advantage of it. I love it, and you can see a difference.
I agree - a huge difference. I recently upgraded to the LG OLED55C6P and the matching 4K 3D Bluray player.

Now if PD16 could support 4K Bluray burning and HDR!
Quote Still annoying that PowerDirector isn't doing its full job but at least I can get to edit.
That part of the application was designed for older hardware - camcorders with TAPE or analog capture devices. It doesn't even work with modern digital TV tuners either. Many years ago, capture worked great with analog TV Tuners.
Check the manual , page 221. Shows you what you you should see using Windows Explorer on drive F: Since you are shooting 4k MP4 files, I would guess the files are in the BDMV folder and may have .mts file extension. Just use Windows Explorer and copy the files you want to a local hard drive. Then import them into PD15.
As far as I know, Power Director has never supported two camera 3D.
I'll have to try this with BD folder later today when I have some free time.

For the main topic, it does not seem possible to do editing with real menus without burning a physical disc.
Should be able to burn to a folder and then copy that folder to a USB drive. Whether or not you see the menu would be up to the software you use to view it. I've used this method many times with DVD to make sure the menus works correctly. See no reason why it wouldn't work with Bluray.
Quote As I have not found PC UHD burner,Bruno
There are several 4K UHD burners - Pioneer, Phillips and LG (BDXL triple/Quad layer). However, only a few will read the odd 66GB of commercial 4K Bluray discs. Recently purchased 4k TV so will be in the market for 4K burner in the future.
Quote By default, window 10 does not include the mpeg-2 codec for free. See this recent post on one way to solve the problem for free:
Additional information -- Microsoft has released a free MPEG 2 codec in the MS Store with Creators Update 1703. Just go to the MS Store and search for MPEG 2 extension. I know it works with TV&Movies app. Not sure if it can be used system wide.
Found a solution which could possibly work with laptop with MSHybrid technology. I had just upgraded to 4K HDTV which I use as a monitor and use Silicon Dust Prime tuner to watch TV through Win10. My screen started flashing black randomly. Spent hours googling and trying different suggestions.

I did realize that Win10 thought I had two monitors for some odd reason. I think Windows was trying to randomly redetect the second monitor. I just ran across a online article that suggested disabling the i7 HD4600 in device manager when this happens.

Yeah Guess what? PD15 will now produce using my GTRX1060 again. Don't understand why having two GPUs should be so annoying.
On the old machine, load PD15 and your project

Go to File / Pack Project Material and remember where you saved the file

Transfer file to new computer and open in PD15

Your new computer sounds fast enough to turn Shadow Files off unless the project is 4K.
I agree. There needs to be a few options. Never liked the 'Adobe me too' look.
Nothing has changed. HDTV is connected to GTX1060 via HDMI cable. Guess I should check my BIOS again. The only option it has is GPU 'preference' - integrated or PCIE slot. PD15 is the only app that won't use the GTX1060.

edit: really odd - in Particles , etc., I see teh nVidia logo on them. Yet in produce, PD will only use Quicksync. ??
