I should have mentioned at the start, that the problem is with Menu Designer. Every other part of the software is OK.

FWIW I downloaded/installed the latest Nividia update yesterday, but that didn't help.

I'm getting desperate now!

Could this be fixed by reinstalling PD12? I have found the downloaded copies of the PD12 installation files on my archived downloaded files and the CD key in the registry.

Hi there,

Haven't used PD12 for about 6 months, and now when I want to modify a DVD/BluRay menu I can't do it as all I get is a grey screen. I only want to change the background on a certain menu. Can someone help me please.

Problem solved. I had made some custom titles both in MPEG and AVI. I had loaded the MPEG version instead of the AVI version on the timeline and this caused the problem.

I'm having trouble deleting a chapter marker. I don't need chapters in my project, however chapter 1 marker is showing - see attachment - and I can't delete it! The option to delete is greyed out.

I am trying to create a Blu-ray disc but I am getting the "eA0000012" error which I have had previously and was a menu error. I have set the create disc to No menu.

Hi there,

I have downloaded the trial version of PowerDVD14. Currently I am using version 10. I would like to use the Pro version of 14, and looking at buying it before 25 December. Is there an upgrade price for that version from 10? I know Ultra can be upgraded from 10, but the Pro version of 14 will suit me fine.

The cost for me in Australian Dollars is $59.95 if purchased before the expiry on 25th December, that's why I am asking about upgrading from 10.

That's all I wanted to know.

I'll probably put ALL the media onto DVD/Blu-ray as an archive in their own right as well as pack the projects.

Hi there,

I'm re-organising my file locations, having just installed a 2nd 1TB HDD, partitioned equally into 2 partitions. (G & H drives).

At the moment I have files for use in PD12 spread over 3 or 4 drives (NOT G & H).

If I consolidate on the G & H drives, would PD12 have trouble finding all the files. from the other drives once they are on G & H? For example I have wave files for music on F drive under one folder with 2 sub-folders, and want to transfer them to G drive, but my current projects have them located on F.

To "cut a long story short", would PD12 re-organise these files automatically, or do I have to do it manually, if so what would be the best way to go about it?

Could I use the "Find in Library Folder" option in the properties of the file? See attachment.

Resizing the tracks worked. Also saving was OK. It reloaded back in OK.

Hi there,

I have 2 video clips taken a few years apart from the same spot. The earlier one is a 4:3 clip modified for 16:9 with blurred vertical edges - (which I specifically created for my current project). The later one is 16:9. I want to have the earlier clip showing, then fade/morph - or whatever - the newer clip in to continue the video.

The clips are actually of the London Eye by day (modified 4:3) and by night (16:9). I am not sure how to do this. Can someone please help me? Is there a tutorial available, such as PDToots?

Thanks tomasc, I'll let you know later. I'm currently in the middle of a project ATM. I'm alternating between Tracks 1 & 2 about every 6 - 8 minutes, and am using Track 1 ATM.

This happens when I add a clip to Track 2. If I add to Track 1, then drag to Track 2, Track 3 does not reappear.

You cannot remove anything that is a part of the video, but you can cover it up.

Try the Blur Effect in FX. You can Modify the effect to cover just that text.

Hi there,

New to this forum, although I have been using PD12 forum.

I have one question. Is Power2Go8 able to burn across multiple Blu-ray discs? I have a PD12 packed project which is to large to fit on one 25GB disc, so would like to burn on multiple discs.

Worked out it was the mpg clip! replaced it with avi version and it worked OK!

Why would the mpg clip cause the problem?

I'll burn the NTSC version and see what happens.
