Removing text from clip

Hi there,

Is there a way in PD12 to remove text from a clip? (See attachment). In my previous editor there was an effect called knockout which did just that.

You cannot remove anything that is a part of the video, but you can cover it up.

Try the Blur Effect in FX. You can Modify the effect to cover just that text.
If you do not want a blur, you can use any image or Color Board (Modify PIP).

I had a play around with blur effect, but could not work out how to just blur the section I want. IanB

You use modify and the Mask, adjust the mask to fit your text.
