Create disc screen. They look jagged on the TV as well. In the edit mode, I can change my preview quality to "Full HD Preview Resolution" and the background & titles on the menus look extremely sharp, but the thumbnails are poor and jagged.

The thumbnails are 1920x1080 H.264 AVC from my Canon camera

Yes, the main video looks great. Not upscaling to HD. I have submitted a new topic "Thumbnail Quality" so that I could include an attachment for you to look at.

Attached is a screen print of my chapter page.

Yes, I am making a standard definition DVD. I play it back on my TV's set top DVD player. The thumbnail image is terrible.
How do I increase the resolution of the thumbnails in my chapter menus? They are unclear and have jagged edges.

Thank you and good luck in your efforts to make this work.

Thank you, how do you temporarily deactivate PD13Speed?
bonagege, have since tried again, and on my PD13, the extra shortcuts interfere with typing in names in titler. When I type in a name with an i in it, I get a slpit & delete action. Sure would like to see this work with PD13 as they are great time savers.
Thanks for your work on this.

Thanks for this- very helpful. However, on my PD 13, 2528: p doesn't work; n goes to previous, not next; a does the same as i; and d splits & deletes to right of cursor

Would like to be able to select an object anywhere on the timeline without the timeline cursor jumping to that object.
Would like to be able to undock timeline window, move it to a secondary monitor, and stretch out to show more timelines.
Thanks. Would that not be a nice feature, especially if you had many tracks? The screen could be filled top to bottom to show many tacks.
Can the timeline be undocked and moved to a secondary monitor?

I have a GeForce 9500Gt with 340.52 driver. I applied your technique of using the 3 dll files. I ran a 60 second test to mp4: took 1 minute 5 seconds with "Fast Video Rendering Technology/Hardware Video Encoder" checked and 26 seconds without! What's going on?

Thanks for chiming in 1Nina- good to know that I'm not the only one for whom this is an issue.
Timeline markers will work, just an extra step. Thank you for submitting.
You suggestion of copy & paste may be the ticket. Thanks much!

Thank your for your effort. I don't want to belabor the point, but just in case I'm missing something, I'm going to post a screen grab to illustrate what I'm talking about. Looking at my timeline, my cursor is at the 1 minute mark and I have a title at the 4 minute mark. I want to move the title to the 1 minute mark, but when I click on the title to move it, my cursor jumps from the 1 minute mark on the timeline to the beginning of the title (4 minute mark on the timeline) and I have lost the precise point on the timeline to which I wanted to move the title.

Thanks so much!

Sony MovieStudio Platinum 13 has this feature as does Serif MoviePlus X6. I can select any object on any track without the cursor moving. Having to add a marker every time you want to get back to a spot on the timeline is very time consuming.
