ClancM, Very nice video. How long did it take you to do it?
tks

Thanks, it took me about an hour, though using Expression Encoder slowed down the process. I tried to make it as professional as a PDToot

sorry i posted this by accident but don't know how to delete.
You can choose to create a new menu from scratch, when creating this it will have the maximum buttons on a menu. But when you apply that to a movie it will only have the necessary buttons. And you should be able to double click and edit text once you click apply.
Here's another one i made.

a screen shot is one way to do it, and a good idea to get the mask perfect. But that requires more editing in your photo editor of choice. Of which you can use many, i used paint.net a free image editing program to create that mask. And of course it depends on the detail of your mask, if you only need a basic shape you could make it then re-size it. The link above is a previous forum post on how to make masks.
I was reading a post recently ( http://forum.cyberlink.com/forum/posts/list/17378.page#88054 ) and thought why not create a topic for users to post masks they've created to share with others.
I'll start it off

Thank you, that was vary helpful!
Heres a mask i made that i think will work for what you need. I dont think there's any way to rotate a mask.

Put both these files in C:/Program Files/Cyberlink/PowerDirector/Masks

and theyll show up in the mask selection pannel.

Here are some links that miight help.

I'm looking for a new laptop that will work good with PD9, but isnt too expensive. Any suggestions?
Could it be the DVD type? Im putting a dvd-rw into a dvd-rw drive.
Unfortunitly i tried creating a folder only and burning it with another program, but it still said track reservation not comeplete. The update of PD9 also didnt help. Any ideas
Can you customize the 3D template Broadway to change the "animations"
