Hi Clancy -

Not a very helpful error message, is it? Doesn't give you much to go on!

How about expanding the timeline & attaching a screenshot of your workspace for the 5 second intro?

I cannot see any reason why it would produce an AVI file, but not WMV.

Cheers - Tony

Hi Clancy,
Would it be possible to attach your whole project?

File>Export>Pack Project Materials> browse for a location.

Zip the folder's contents and attach the zip here.

If you can reduce your project to its smallest size with the issue still happening, then that would make uploading/downloading a lot easier.

I think we should "have a go" at repeating the issue.

Hi Clancy -

The background video (Crazy Squares) in the .zip file failed to extract properly (some header issue), but I replaced it with another in your project. Anyway - I produced it to WMV Full HD, without issue...

I was a little confused about all the bits in your project that showed up as 0.0.0. Couldn't work out their purpose. Your project appeared to be a 16:9, yet the .png titles were 800x600 (4:3).

Rejigged the graphics to 16:9, removed what I thought were excess bits (without really knowing what you were after) & produced to WMV 1280x720.

Some things I've learned, since joining this forum, are to:
1. Make graphics in high resolution, to match the intended output resolution
2. Pre-produce complex sections to avoid errors
3. K.I.S.S.

The (modified) packed project & produced file are attached. When you open it, you'll see what's been done in PiP Designer.

Cheers - Tony

Thank you, those are excellent Points. I think some other program running on my PC caused the error, because it worked when i tried it again with the original files.
