Hi Clanc -

I'm sure it's possible, though I've not done it myself.

If you go to C:\Program Files\CyberLink\PowerDirector\Styles\Broadway, you'll see some frames & images used in the opening, & videos that are applied to the opening/ending sequences... along with all the xml files.

I guess, by "animations" you're referring to the opening/closing videos. These are produced files in .wmv format, with particle effects built in.

So - to change those, you'd need to:
1. create videos that met your preferences
2. produce them to the same parameters as the standard ones
3. name them in the same way as those in the folder
- e.g. "open_trans_HQ.wmv" is 1280x960 @ 1500Kbps, so the replacement video would be formatted & named in the same way
4. back up the originals
5. replace the video/frame/image files in the folder

I'm not sure the effort of doing that would be very rewarding. You could, more simply, create an opening and closing video sequence to tag onto your production.

The other thing to consider is that, once PD does its "style" rendition, what's on the timeline is completely editable - except that the particle effects are already rendered in the videos. You can just remove/replace/modify sections you don't like.

Cheers - Tony
