I've been trying to do a snapshot, but it's not working. It produced the jpg file, but when I open it it's just a black box with red font saying "Invalid Image". I've searched for solutions, but nothing works.

I have to video clips, picture-in-picture. I made sure to position the slider at the point I want the capture. I did read that I need to be in "Movie" mode not "Clip" mode. But still...nothing works.

If anyone has any thoughts or ideas, I would really like to know.

Thanks
OK...that's interesting. Never thought of that. It is an MP3 file so I'll try to convert to a WAV file.
I am sooooo frustrated. I'm editing podcats and use the Wave Editor to edit the auido. EVERY time I do it, then return to PowerDirector, it cuts of the last couple of seconds of audio.

I have no idea why, but it's extremely frustrating. I don't know why it happens.

Anyone have any ideas?

All I do it edit out bits of audio, then increase the volume a bit on the whole thing. That's it. Then I lose the last 2 seconds or so.
I've always wanted to ask this, so I'm finally going to.

I'm procucing a video that will be put on the web. I think the site uses Vimeo. Regardless, what is the best format to use? I'm looking for best quality with best compression.

I know it's a fairly open ended question...and very general. But any advice is welcome.
Well, I hope this doesn't sound too much like a newbie question, but here goes...

I have created a title. I inserted an image. Then I inserted text below. Now I want to go back and move the image up slightly, but I cannot select it. I can select the text box underneath, but not the image.

Any ideas?
Thanks...I have submitted it to support and I'm waiting for their response.

Does anyone know if it's still avialable? Or should I just buy the newest version?
I bought PowerDirector 9 a few years ago. Unfortunately, my hard drive crashed and I have to re-install all my software. I have my license key from when I purchased it. However, I can't find it for download on the webiste.

How can I re-download it?
Question here...how do I get 3 different text boxes to action their animations at separate intervals. Like if I gad "Go" and "Team" and "Go"...but I want them to fade in sequentially.

I can't seem to figure that out.
Yup...makes sense! Not sure why I didn't think of that.

On that note...I'm trying to apply a PiP effect to more than one clip. But it only let's me do it one clip at a time.

Isn't there a way to apply it to multiple clips at once?
OK...so here's the situation. I have about 25 clips of which I want the audio track muted on about half of them...but not the other half. What I was doing was just deleting the audio track from them once I unlinked the audio from the video. I don't know how to mute just some of the clips but not all of them. I would have to manually turn down/off the volume on some of the clips one by one.

Not sure if any of this makes sense. I just thought it was easier to delete the audio completely from the clips that I wanted....but it would mean unlinking each clip manually.
So...I know how to unlink one clip - meaning unlink the audio from the video. But how do I unlink multiple clips at the same time? I have about 25 clips in a row and I need to unlink the audio from the video from each.

I would hate to think that I have to do it individually for each one...that would take forever!

Thoughts?
