SnapShot feature not working

I've been trying to do a snapshot, but it's not working. It produced the jpg file, but when I open it it's just a black box with red font saying "Invalid Image". I've searched for solutions, but nothing works.

I have to video clips, picture-in-picture. I made sure to position the slider at the point I want the capture. I did read that I need to be in "Movie" mode not "Clip" mode. But still...nothing works.

If anyone has any thoughts or ideas, I would really like to know.

Thanks

You seemed lonely moving down the forum with no answer or reply, so here I am!

In Preferences > File

You can set the format of your snapshot to 1 of 4 types. Perhaps altering the format will yield different results. In the event it does not, you can also try a search of this topic, in addition to getting back to us.
Good luck.

Go into settings, enable ‘Always prompt me to confirm captured snapshot filename’.

If enabled, disable, reboot PD14, then re-enable this confirmation.
