I haven't tried Essentials VI, but I know that Essential V is not compatible with PowerDirector 11.
Forget Wikipedia, and go directly to the Blu-ray Disc website.

http://www.blu-raydisc.com/assets/Downloadablefile/BD-ROM-AV-WhitePaper_110712.pdf

The link keeps changing over time.
That is not a Blu-ray Disc format, so you won't find it in the list.
Item 3 on the root menu is used only if you have created subtitles in the Subtitle Room and the subtitles are for disc. Item 3 will be blank if you don't have any subtitles. Item 2 on the root menu is used only if you have 2 or more chapters, otherwise item 2 is blank. Item 1 is for the "Play" button.

There is something you may need to do for 1280x720 to show up correctly.

In PowerDirector, select 1920x1080 for your custom MOV preset. Then in the Profile.ini file, change the 1920 to 1280, and change the 1080 to 0720. Note the zero before the 720. You need to take up 4 places. In fact, you probably need to keep the same number of characters for other parameters as well. For example, for a framerate of 59.94, I used 59.939999. That takes up the same number of characters as 29.969999.
I don't have a graphics card. The graphics adapter is on the CPU. Something new to me.

I don't know how many PD users are using which cards.

Where is the "Time Info" tab?

Subtitles can have more than one line.

I have the Radeon listed in my signature. It's actually on the CPU. Accelerated ENCODING is available for MPEG-2, WMV, AVC/H.264, MPEG-4, and MKV. There's a separate download from AMD that contains codecs needed for accelerated encoding. Only certain models are affected. The download is mentioned in small print on Cyberlink's webpage for PowerDirector 11 at the bottom of the specification page.
Unless you post how you resolved the problem, you won't get any more help on future problems you might have.
I didn't see any problems after installing 13.1, but out of curiosity I went from 13.1 back to 12.10, and PowerDirector just froze when the edit workspace opened. I spent a lot of time getting PowerDirector 11 to work again. Sometimes just changing display drivers can cause problems no matter if updating or rolling back.
You can also put the Blur effect on the effects track, which is between track 1 and track 2 by default. Every clip above the effects track will be effected, in case you add video tracks.

Another option is to produce a video with one blur, then use that as the source to put another blur on it.
Please post PowerDirector 10 questions on the PowerDirector 10 forum.
herp, are you familiar with the different resolutions settings you can select on the YouTube player for watching video? When I first watched your video on Youtube, the resolution was only 360p by default. You need to click on the cogwheel and select 1080p.

Also, nobody can judge how well a video application produces a video by watching a rehash of it on Youtube.
It definitely works for me, but I need to install the latest version of AMD Catalyst Control Center 12.10 before installing the AVIVO package (XCODE) which has a version of 12.8. I thought that because the package with the AVIVO codecs was version 12.8 that I should install version 12.8 of the AMD Catalyst Control Center first. That did not work. Version 12.10 of CCC must be installed first.

Not only did this enable hardware encoding in PowerDirector 11, but also in a competitor's product.

You can see my computer specs in my signature.

If you have an ATI or AMD graphics card, you may like to know about the AVIVO codec package you need to download from AMD to make GPU accelerated encoding available in PowerDirector 11.

This note is at the bottom of the PowerDirector 11 product web page on the Spec tab:

"1. Accelerated video encoding on AMD graphics cards requires the user to install the AMD Media Codec Package, also known as the Avivo™ Package. This package is available as an optional download when obtaining an AMD Catalyst™ Display Driver for AMD desktop graphics and notebook graphics products, available at www.amd.com."

After searching the AMD website, I got to the following page where I had to fill out a form after which I could download the codec package.

http://support.amd.com/us/gpudownload/windows/Pages/eyespeed_downloads.aspx

After installing the codecs, the "Fast video rendering technology" and "Hardware video encoder" options became enabled on my computer for MPEG-2, h.264/AVC, WMV, MPEG-4, and MKV formats.
You can still use the Multi-trim window to adjust the in and out points of a scene. The trick is to adjust the controls so you can better see the section you want to work on.

Click on the large thumbnail representing the scene on the right side of the multi-trim window. That will set the cursor to the start of the scene.

You can then zoom in or out using the + or - magnifiers.

Adjust the yellow in and out markers. Then press okay. The scene on the timeline will be updated with the new in and out points.

SENSIO is not mentioned on PowerDirector 11 product web page on the Specs tab, neither import nor export.
Windows comes with a magnifier tool that might help. In Windows 7 and 8 you bring up the Ease of Access window by pressing the Windows Logo key on the keyboard + U. Then you can select the magnifier.

After selecting the magnifer, you can use some keyboard shortcuts:

Dock: CTRL + ALT + D
Full Screen: CTRL + ALT + F
Lens: CTRL + ALT + L

You can adjust the size of the lens using sliders.
I recall reading that if your project is set to 16:9, then some effects designed for 4:3 won't show up, and vice versa.
Go to the Subtitle Room, add blank subtitles along the timeline. There will have to be one subtitle for each line of text in the text file. Then import the text file. Each line of text will go to a separate subtitle.
If you are using the trial version, you could have trouble producing h.264 MOV video if you don't have Windows 7. I believe that feature (AVC/h.264) is disabled in the trial if you have Windows XP.
