Good morning,
No, this project only did this once. I watched your video and switched it back.
I have a baseball project not quite fully started, but the darn thing did it 3-4 times. I thought it was me.
I shall try to send you info at breaktime if you still want it.
My latest "Cars" video has an issue.
I burnt a dvd folder succesfully into 16:9.
I then attempted to burn the mpeg2 file. It kept failing.
Much to my amazement, the entire project has switched to 4:3.
The render screen says 720x480, but aspect 4:3.

Has anyone had this event occur?
That worked great, thanks!
Are there any plans to allow midi files in PD?
Any one know of a freeware to convert a midi?
Not to worry,
as soon as the lads arrive to crush my stinky crabs, I shall offer melted butter to win them over. Then we all shall drink late into the night, singing the praises of Australian and American coconuts!
Hmmm,
suddenly I see the resemblance of Roberts avatar to the doofus on the welcome screen!
When I start PD7, the logo arrives, featuring a nice boy.
Although he seems to be a fine lad, with a bright future in the logo business, why oh why did Cyberlink replace the hot babe from PD6?
Is there any recourse?
Place the video into PIP timeline.
Click "modify"
Now you can re-align/orient the video as you wish.
Dear Bloodthirsty Hooligan brothers,
the update of my 945 Chipset seems to have cured the issue.
Once again I am blessed with bubbles and candy, hmm, I once knew a dancer named Bubbles, and her sister Candy...
It seems I've lost 3 SFX. Bubbles, candy canes, and wreaths.
Oddly enough, these 3 were an issue for me back in PD5, what-up?
The icons are there, but they do not function.
Anyone else?
I have not yet tried re-install, though I suspect the "Mighty One" will lead me to that answer.
The actions you performed were correct. You will not get the entire video on a 4:3 tv. Do not lose sleep. The 4:3 tv's will all be gone the way of the infamous 8-track tape, and the incandescent bulb.
Just make 2 versions of your most important videos, 16:9, and 16:9 into a 4:3 frame. Have fun!
The fix will be in a download, other fixes will most likely be included.
After you render your project in 16:9, re-render the new video into a 4:3 frame. This will allow a 4:3 tv to show your entire video, but with black bars top and bottom. You can still play this on a widescreen tv, but the viewer will need to use the zoom function of the tv to crop out the black bars.
Sometimes I just render a project this way and keep both files.

did that make any sense?
For render, use a high quality mpeg2.
Then you must FLASH FLASH FLASH!

Go to SMW editor extras. Download one of the video converters, free, and then use it to convert your video to flash flv.

There are tutorials on SMW, but don't be frightened. It's easy.

Any video you see on the web that has any clarity at all is FLASH.
If you have a newer digital camera, check to see if it has a converter in it.
Many newer cameras will allow a pass thru.
Like this...

VCR/Hi8>rca cables> into newer camera>IEEE or USB into computer.

Even if PD7 does not see it, Movie Maker will.

This all depends on you or a friend having a digital camera with the pass thru conversion capability. But you might already have the hardware you need.
Oh Robert,
ye of only 3 stars, what have ye done with me avatar, ye evil sot.

Oops, I forgot to mention, I also have PD7 v.1714.
Almost every time I reopen my latest project, a particular scene that I have at 3x speed does not save properly.
The clip in question would be, let's say 45 seconds at 3x speed. When the failure occurs, the clip is still 45 seconds, but speed 1x, and the end is now cut off. My music and pip clips after the infraction, are now not where they were before! Am I alone in this issue?
Place the video into the pip timeline. size it and rotate.
Above it, in the regular timeline, place an empty file or colorboard.
EEEEEZY!
PD6 and 7 are compatible, previous versions are not.
