For my videos I use the same intro and outro segments. I thought I could create these separately and then import them as finished clips into each main video (or just drop them in the C:/....../SampleClips folder) saving me time. It would also free up space in the media area as these segments are made up of several smaller clips, music and images.
My question: if I do this, will there be a drop in quality if these pre-rendered clips are rendered again? Not sure how the rendering process would affect the video/audio quality if they are rendered more than once.
Using PD19 Ultimate. Render setttings are 1920 x 1080/H.264/mp4/PAL
Thanks in advance.

Already have. No response
FWIW I installed a free screen recorder (Bandicam) and that also did not work. Same result as with the Cyberlink screen recorder. Still no response from Cyberlink support which is a bit disappointing. Ended up using the built-in Windows 10 screen recorder.

Sounds like your best bet is to contact CL tech support from here. Be sure to paste a link to this discussion so they can see everything that's happened here already.

There are many reasons why updating the software could have solved the issue, but since that isn't the case can you confirm that you're seeing the exact same problem as the OP on this discussion - that you get a useless 1kB MP4 file (and matching .mrk file if you have mouse click capture enabled) when you click the Record button?
If so, have you turned off nVidia Shadowplay/performaed a clean driver installation as suggested by JL_JL?
Or are you seeing something different when you say it's stopped working?
Its a zero byte file
Shadowplay is not enabled. And again, none of these things have been changed. Yes driver has been updated.

SR4 is now at 4.2.6.13448 and you can download the latest patch from here.
Your DxDiag results show that your nVidia RTX2070 driver is several releases behind.
Try downloading and installing v461.72 from this page and then run the installer. Choose the NVIDIA Graphics Driver option then Custom (Advanced). Next, select only the Graphics Driver then click NEXT to start the installation.
Sorry no change.
And to be honest it worked before, now it doesn't. Not sure how the updates would have fixed anything...

My Screen Recorder stopped working too. Very annoying.

I got an awesome shot of an barn. Only problem is there is an overhead cable going past the front. I can remove the cable from the sky (it was overcast so I can simply paint over it). But the tiled roof is going to be trick. Apart from eyedropping the colour across each tile and then painting the over cable is there an easier way to do this?
TIA
Nm I figured it out, Freaking awesome software this.

Hi. First post.
I have a title that I want to add a solid background to (the template background is transparent). The only way I can see to do this is click on the 'insert background' button above the preview but that requires an image when all I want is a sloid black background. Do I have to create a solid black image 1920 x 1080 and use that or have I missed something?
