That is pretty much what I want to do but in a simpler manner. In fact it is for a video I am doing for my brother's 80th Birthday, not as professional as the one you did for your Dad.!! The section of the chart is in landscape I will attach a copy. I tried the user-defined method in Magic motion but could not find a way. Then tried PIP Designer with the same result. I know it can be done so meanwhile I will take another look at the "Keyframes and PIP Motion designer" Toot.

Thanks again Tony.

Baz
I have watched umpteen tutorials and can see what can be done but either the cursor is too fast or my brain is too slow.
I cannot grasp whether to use "modify" or "keyframe" to establish a pattern of movement. eg: I have an image from a genealogy file that shows four generations. I want to have a zoom in of generation A then slowly zoom out to B then C then D.
For some reason I cannot get my head around the use of scale, and motion. Is there a tutorial that can help me?
Yes Tony ....I should have known. Many thanks that is just what I wanted.

This dummy did not realise the magic motion had selectable options. I will try that in the next day or so..looks promising.
Thanks Tony...I will let you know how I get on. Barry.
Thanks Carl but I have looked at many of the slideshow tutorials on Cyberlink, DZ and various individual tutorials.
The conclusion is that there is no way I can see how I can manually produce a slideshow with motion, transitions etc. as I did with PD11. The theme designer does not have a way of controlling the speed of images or the motion it selects. At least none that I can find. I would love to know if I can get PD11back.
I mostly use digital stills to manually produce a slideshow but since recently updating to PD12 ultra (from PD11) I cannot see how to use motion. The theme designer I have tried on several occasions but it runs too fast even after extending the images to 10, 12 or even 15 seconds. I have watched "Sparky's" video but can't get those results. I have looked at many other Tutorials but am so confused just now I wish I still had PD11. Can someone put me on the right track???
Thanks for the advice Carl... Unless instructed otherwise, when downloading I select "Run". The Program file downloaded OK but the contents files, after a long time downloading, did not show on my downloads and there was no evidence they had. When I downloaded the second time I selected "Save". After downloading I had the "run" selection and all was OK. They were also now shown in my download file. I have not experienced this before. Anyway all seems OK now and I do have those other Themes. I have used PD9/11 and now 12 and am amazed at the unlimited options it provides. And of course the support from Cyberlink and you guys at Directorzone make it all the more valuable. Thanks again. BH
I do have the full version but only have three themes ie: Neon, Wonder Box, and Memories.
I did download all three of the main files.

Suggestions?
Hi there....after a prolonged absence I have returned and now with PD12....amazing... so I have a lot to learn. As I mostly work with digital stills and mostly produce my own slide show, I find the theme designer could be a real useful tool. However am I missing something? I note there are many other designs in the Tutorials but can't see where/how to download them. Any suggestions?

Thanks for the reply Barry. I have been using PD9 for a few years, mainly I use digital stills and some video with custom editing and now I have PD11 and want to be a bit more adventurous. No, I am not sure what you mean by the graphics program? Yes, I am OK with formats eg: png etc. I did try to download the free paint.net but my Trend Micro warned me that it was dangerous? Yet many seem to be using it. So, any suggestions or advice would be appreciated. BH
I have been unable to find a toot showing me how to use motion on a custom title eg: zoom out slowly on a particular path. Also how to use stills similar to PIP like that in slideshow but only for use with custom editing. I mostly use only digital stills with occasional PIP of video. Any suggestions would be appreciated.
