It is completely out of sync in Quick Time on my computer. The same file, FULL HD, plays perfectly fine in Media Player. It's just Quick Time. And only certain people seem to have the sync problem.
Thanks.
Have you tried other MP4 files in your QuickTime?
Produce that same file to MOV and try it in QuickTime. What happens?
EDIT: I agree with BillyR, QuickTime is not worth the trouble.
I originally produced the file as a mov file and had all types of trouble, then I switched to Mpeg and was fine. Quick Time seems to be the issue, but only with some people.

My suggestion: Suggest to your correspondents to play the files in Media Player, VLC, or any other player than QuickTime. I try my best to ignore that player as much as possible, as it's a pain in the neck and has been for the 15 years since I was first introduced to it.
Thanks! I will try that suggestion. Thank you.

I produced a file, complete with soundtrack and it plays perfectly fine in Media Player. It's an MPEG-4 file. No sync issues whatsoever. Yet, when some people play the file in Quick Time, it's out of sync. Any idea if this is a QT problem or a problem with my file?
Thanks,
Tamara

I still don't know what to do with the media info file. I can provide you with all you need to know, because using MediaInfo is extremely confusing.
1) I shot the video in full HD 1920x1080 24p on a Canon Mark II. Therefore I am rendering in 24p.
2) All of my audio files are .wav files.
3) It renders/produces in Mpeg4 just fine. No audio sync issues whatsoever. I have not tried the mts format.
4) I was producing in mov as an alternate.

Okay, my apologies if this duplicated.
When my edited video plays in the preview, everything is just fine. But when I produced to mov file, everything got out of sync. Please tell me what settings I have to put it on so this is not a problem!
Thanks,
Tamara
Hi Tamara323,
Please can you attach a bit more information.
1. A screenshot of your project in the edit Workspace.
2. MediaInfo of the video you are editing.
3. What is your MOV selection, the full details of what you chose please?
Guide info, Part E F and J, http://forum.cyberlink.com/forum/posts/list/29701.page
Dafydd
I have attached 1 and 3. I don't know how to gather the info for number 2. I have downloaded the program and am not sure where to go from there.

Hello! I need help! I have just taught myself how to edit and have done a pretty good job. Everything is cut together in PDR12, audio issues have been corrected. Now I need to know about adding music/making the soundtrack for my short film. Do I lay the music directly into my timeline or do I produce the movie, sans music and import that file into audio director to lay the music and sync it up? After that, do I produce the music track and then reimport it back to PDR?
I apologize if my question isn't worded correctly. I am just looking for the best way to mix a soundtrack using both PDR12 and ADR4! The roundtrip editing only works on a clip, by clip basis.
