Hello! I need help! I have just taught myself how to edit and have done a pretty good job. Everything is cut together in PDR12, audio issues have been corrected. Now I need to know about adding music/making the soundtrack for my short film. Do I lay the music directly into my timeline or do I produce the movie, sans music and import that file into audio director to lay the music and sync it up? After that, do I produce the music track and then reimport it back to PDR?

I apologize if my question isn't worded correctly. I am just looking for the best way to mix a soundtrack using both PDR12 and ADR4! The roundtrip editing only works on a clip, by clip basis.

I am new to this forum and would have helped you if my trial had not unexpectedly expired, I was experimenting mostly with Audio Director, which oddly enough has not expired, so from memory, you simply import your sound file / recording into power director, and drag it to an audio track, if your audio tracks are used up you can add another audio track, and drag your file onto the track, you can also record directly into PowerDirector using a microphone plugged in to your computer, if your sound card is not good, then use a usb microphone.

As I said I can not access PowerDirector so I am unable to provide click by click instructions, am also amazed no one answered your simple question.
