Sadly no one came up with an explanation or solution.

In the meanwhile I have searched further for understanding this issue.

  1. I burned BR(50GB) folders without menu in MPEG2. This came out without any issues. (Sadly without chapters)

  2. I burned BR50GB) folders with menu in H264. This came went without issues. Due to compression the files are <25.

Hopefully someone can help further for understanding the original burning issue ?

Thanks in advance.

Hello Folks,

Thanks for this forum. I searched on the forum for this issue and found: https://forum.cyberlink.com/forum/posts/list/29714.page
This thread helped me further as I had a same error on a project.
But still need your help to solve it 100%

Project is 28 GB 1920x1080/50i
Burning as 50 GB Bluray to a folder in MPEG2
PD 15
(side note, burning to a DVD 8,5GB with no problem)

Burning error at 94% of the project.

Based on this thread I searched within my project if there are some parts "underwater'. None of them.
Then I read that this issue could occur with the menu - as weakest point of PD.
I burned without menu structure and the burning to a folder went well.
With that good feeling I made a new menu as it lookslike the error was in the old menu. Also with the new menu the same error exists (also on 94% of the project).

As I want to have a menu on de BluRay I ask you for more suggestions were to search for the failure.

Many thank in advance.

As promised I take some time to experiment with all the tips you gave to me.

And it worked quite well. See example.

The dificulty for me was to find a good video part with the guitarist in the right part of the video (left side) and also in the right size as this was limited to the guitar mask.

I create a PNG file of the guitar.

Placed it on video line 2, chroma key on the white color.

Placed the video on line 1 and ad the same picture of the guitar as a mask on video line 1

Placing that on the correct positions to get a good overlay on the tracks.

Many thanks again - and you will see this probably soon on my YT channel - paiceashtonlord.

Thank you all for your advices and examples. I will work on this to figure out the principles of this new work method and will let you know how i work it out.

Thanks!

Dear All,

I'm using PowerDirector 11 (director suite 3).

I'm searching for a plug-in or an technic to create a "picture in shape".

My idea is to get a free disort of my video to place this video in a still picuture. (picture of guitar with the movie of the guitarist in it).

Is this technically possible in PowerDirector 11 or higher versions ?

Or do I need to buy a plug-in ?

Which plug-ins exists (like new blue FX)?

Any advise is more than welcome.

Thanks for keeping us informed.

Was the BR disc also working well.
I mean was it possible to skip between the chapters (this is an issue in PD13)

Think, there's a big bug in PD13+14 to Create BD Disc and Geforces.

Any info if Cyberlink comes up with a solution. You may think that they would do in PD14, but not.
thanks

paiceashtonlord # 123, to me it looks like blasiusxx recommends:

"If I Produce 1080 Progressive BD Disc with H.264, the created Video playback is fine with chapters and fast forward."

This is a bit confusing.

The issue at my side is only when I burn a BD on 1080 50p instead of 50i.

Would nice to be know if you had the same issue (looks like the otherway around).

Many thanks for clearing this out. Good to see my toughts confirmed.

With that in mind what would you recommend

Recording in 50p en burning in 50i or

Recordiing in 50i en burning in 50i

Would it make a difference to burn with the MPEG-2 or H264 codec (now i made it with the MPEG2 on 50i)

PAL
Hi thanks for your reply.

The settings where as in your pictures. So with starting at the menu.

I tested it before burning and went well.

Also in the 50I version on disc it went well.

I guess it has something to do with the 50p H264 codec.

But I do not have enough knowledge about the coding.

PAL
Hi there

I recorded some video in 50p 1920*1080,
produced a film of it with menu etc.
After choosing the codec h264 the bluray wad produced as folder and also burned on br-disc.
All went well.

Sadly when I want to play the br-disc in my br-player (and computer) I found out that the menu doesn´t work with the chapters. Also it was not possible to zap between the chapters or go fast forward.
The film it selfs played normal and I can watch it till the end with no defects.

As I thought that the menu/chapter issue has to do with the codec I als burned it (disc & folder)
in 50i in mpeg2. No issues there.

Anybody who can explain the issue
with the menu/chapter?
Has it to do with the 50p or
codec H264?

Computer information:

Windos 8.1, Intelcore i7 5820K, MSI 2gb d5xGTX960

Thanks in advance
