Hi
I am making examples of videos I can produce for other folk (as a new business venture) and loving the express projects...
but quite right, as soon as you place a snippet on the timeline images are replaced by 1 2 3... and sound vanishes...
is there any way of keeping the demo material in place and just editing the text???

Thanks very much for hanging in there for me, much appreciated!! Strangely the upgrade button on PD simply offered me a completely different Paint offer...
However I have got onto the Cyberlink website and decided to spend the last bit of my pocket money on PD14 but Ultimate not Ultra... so we shall see if that was a wise decision... I enjoyed PD13 and hoping 14 is even better...

sorry I missed Jeff's post georgesz99, I didn't see your variety of PD13 in this thread, Ultra and Deluxe do not include NewBlue Titler Pro.
... what is PD13? I had thought that with Ultra I was buying the best version going including all ad ons... why doesn't include it??

Hi,
thanks for advice but titler is nowhere to be found... i also do not have a number of your titles new world etc...
I had this from New Blue support so I really need some help in discovering where it has gone and more importantly how to fix it.. I purchased mine normally from Cyberlink... not sure if you need to seperately install the titler...

I was going to ask you how you got your list.... very good...
unfortunately its not there... but new blue support have responded to my email and hopefully I will find out why its missing.... I'm now the proud owner of art effects and paint effects from new blue... just text effects to go...

yes... all content is switched on and in text room absolutely no new blue ... see drop down

Hi, thanks for the link... I will definitely explore.
However All content shows no yellow one in text room... I have default default 3d green ones called clover 01 to 04 but no new blue... I am using the full product... I just downloaded a bundle from new blue for art effects paint effects and text effects pro and installed the bundle but can only see 12 paint effects... nothing else... sad... I just sent email asking for help.. looks like integration of plugin problem...

Ive been going through some youtube tutorials and in https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bID4FSgubOI it refers to new blue titler... but this isnt in my library - do i need it?
can anyone recommend/advise best sources for tutorials please... I am impressed with the little basic stuf Ive done would like to learn as much as possible and raise my game..

thanks optodata ... you have my needs exactly right... however although snap is checked.. it doesn't snap nor do I see any black vertical line no matter how slow I go...
The shadowman - Col 4 frames per second I cannot quite grasp.. I have three objects on two time lines set to 00:00:30:24 00:00:41:01 and 00:41:00:00, the latter two appear aligned so what is the significance of the frames per sec??

I appreciate your help but it still seems not as accurate and easy as keying numbers in... but I guess the developers didn't feel that was too important...

thanks for that but that is the problem I refer to... first you have to move it along.. oops I just went past the time.. carefully come back... next I right click.. blast... its moved on a couple of milliseconds... its no good for poor eyesight and clumsy hands...

Hi all
My abilityto drag clips on the timeline is a little clumsy and so I have searched in vain for how you can key in the details.
So far all I can find is that you can overtype the duration of a clip ... which is excellent but... I need to overtype the start time of a clip
For example I have a title section which ends say 10:00 so the video clip starts at 10:01 but I want an additional clip on another timeline to start also at 10:01 so that it is in sync with this video clip... how do i do that?

I spent ages trying to figure out how to add keyframes and also where how to drag the volume down... I am really struggling using the keyboard on my MS Surface Pro.. I keep expanding the timeline dragging it ... those little dots ... is there any simple tutorial to help with this???
its probably me being really dumb.. I like the tutorials when they talk to you... some of the ones at PDTOOTS though flash up instructions ... and I dont digest these so easily...
