I've had a little reminder from a dear friend who's far more proficient at audio editing than I (am). He suggests adding an extra keyframe with the timeline method shown above to achieve a more subtle (bézier curve) fade out.

I spent ages trying to figure out how to add keyframes and also where how to drag the volume down... I am really struggling using the keyboard on my MS Surface Pro.. I keep expanding the timeline dragging it ... those little dots ... is there any simple tutorial to help with this???

its probably me being really dumb.. I like the tutorials when they talk to you... some of the ones at PDTOOTS though flash up instructions ... and I dont digest these so easily...

Hi George -You can add audio keyframes in the timeline by just clicking on the audio level "line"... then just drag it up or down. You
can add keyframes in the Audio Mixing room by just clicking on the gain slider.

Here you are - no VO, but no pop-iup instructions either. Just visual
