Thank you for your help! This answered my question.

Is there a way to Produce and Burn disks of projects that were created using PD 12 or 13 using PD16 software? I have uninstalled earlier verisons of PD and now work with PD16. I have projects stored in Cyberline cloud that were created with PD 12 and/or 13 that I now want to burn additional copies.

THANK YOU! This solved the problem. I had somehow inadvertently unchecked the box. I really appreciate your help. Sending the screenshot showed me what I did wrong and saved me a couple of hours of work! Thanks again for the GREAT help!

While editing a project Power Director 16 quit displaying the text that I had created on the "Title Track". It just stopped showing the text in the display screen and I can't get it back. Can anyone offer some help?

Hello,
It sounds like you are opening PowerDVD 17, which does not allow you to edit movies and create DVDs. It is only for media playback.
Are you saying you upgraded from PowerDirector 13 to PowerDVD 17?
Cheers

Yes, I thought I was upgrading to Power Director 17 but now realize I purchased the wrong product (feeling kind of dumb too). Thanks for answering my question, it will help me get to the right place!

I just upgraded to PD 17 from PD 13. I got an icon on my desktop but when I clicked it I got "PC Mode" and TV Mode. My question is how do I get to program area where I start a building a new movie/DVD? In PD 13 when I clicked on the desktop icon it took me to my previous project but I'm not able to do that yet with PD 17. Can someone help?

Thank you very much. I'm going to look into both the printer and these disks. I think getting this printer might just solve the problems I'm having.

Thanks for your help!

Okay. Thank you very much. I appreciate the quick response!

I'm trying to get away from paper lables since I discovered the problem you mentioned. I'm trying to find an alternative to the paper lables. I know I can put the paper lables on the DVD case but I want something on the disk too, like "Vacation 2016". Is there a way to do that?

With Power Director 13 can I put a title on my disk after I burn the DVD? If so, is there a tutorial?

Thank you very much. This certainly helped and I now have a DVD that I can start when I'm ready. Thanks a million!!!

You are right about what I'm trying to accomplish. I did find the "Playback mode button" in the Create Disk page of PD 13 but the button never lit up so I couldn't open it. In other words I wasn't able to get into the playback mode to unclick the Auto menu timeout. I'm sure I'm just doing something wrong in actually creating a menu. Can you offer some advice on how to access the Auto menu timeout mode. I probably should have mentioned that I'm using Windows 10.

My draft DVD starts as soon as it's uploaded into the DVD player. I'd rather click "play" on the DVD remote to start the DVD. Can someone tell me how to do that?

Yup, audio was turned off; feeling pretty dumb at this point but at least now I have sound Sometimes it's so simple....... Thanks a million for your help Jeff. You might have kept me from going back to Movie Maker as that was next idea.

I'm stumped. I get sound with PD 12 with both imported video clips and music but no sound with PD 13. I'll look into the graphic card driver. Thanks

I'm sure not an expert but I've had some success when I edited my Go Pro video clips in Go Pro Studio and then imported to PD 12. However, the very last batch I tried didn't import well. I just got a green screen so I upgraded to PD 13 and the video comes over well but I'm not getting any audio with it.

I'm not getting any sound at all (with my computer sound turned to 100%) on my video clips. I'm using PD 13 and windows 10. I've downloaded the patch dated 2015-8-9 and that fixed a problem I was having with a "green screen" when my video clips were running. But, now I'm not getting any sound. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks!

Success! That last description you gave me worked. I was able to create a templet for text that fades in and out as well as another template that scrolls. THANK YOU VERY MUCH!

Okay. Thanks! However, I am still without a solution to my two issues. I can add text (titles) to the storyline using the second storyline for videos. But, I can't add the fade transition to all of them at once. I still have to add them by dragging and dropping one transition at a time. Seems like there should be a better way. And, I still don't know if I can have one of the titles (text blocks) scroll down like for the credits at the end of a movie. Any thoughts on additing all of the fade transitions at once or scrolling?

Thanks again for your response. This option may not be available in PD 12 or I'm doing something wrong. I did figure out that if I move the text (titles) from the "T" line in the timeline up to the second video line then I can drag and drop the fade transitions but I have to do it twice for each and every title/text block that I have created. That's just a lot of work but if there isn't another way......
Anyone else have any ideas?
