mun,
Did you patch from PhD 2011 trial?

1. Mind if you can attach DxDiag.txt, Screenshot, (described in http://forum.cyberlink.com/forum/posts/list/17741.page)?

2. Can you pls help download the attached file, CLTracker_v1620.zip. After unzipping it, double click on CLTracker.exe. It will generate a log file called CyberLinkLog.zip. Pls help upload this file to this thread too. This .exe only will collect your installed PhotoDirector 2011 app information and nothing else.

3. What web browser (with build no.) are you using?

Regards,
Brandon
Hi,
If you want to manage your pictures logically and need a software to categorize/tag/grade/... your pictures, you can do that in both PhotoDirector.

PhotoDirector does not organize your pictures physically. That is, moving your pictures around in your hard disk. Windows Explorer should do the job.

Try read the "Library Panel" and "Exporting Photos" sections in user guide. It has good explanation.

But still, depends on what your needs really are, I suggest you try to trials.

Brandon
Hi Johnny,
To use Roate as standalone, you can choose Rotate Right or Rotate Left in the Photo menu.

Brandon
Johnny,
I'm assuming you're referring to the Crop and Rotate tool. If yes, do not click on Done after you finish rotating the first of the selected images. Simply click on the next image to continue rotating. After all are rotated, click on Done for each of the rotated images.

Before you click on Done, the rotate tool remains active. Hope this helps.

Brandon
Werner,

Hi Ron,
Another question: How much space does your C:\ have left after importing your 40K pictures? Any error message you can share with us?

Just so you know that we've tested importing 50K and the result was ok.

Brandon

Hi dheijl,
I tried:

[Repro Steps]
1. Import 10 Canon 7D photos (CR2).
2. Select all and play with Tone options.
3. Export Selected Photos... (with all imported photos selected).
4. Leave all options to default and click on Export.
5. When PhD is exporting, randomly and repeatedly click on the thumbnails in Photo Browser Panel.

[Result]
1. Photos are exported as expected and no crash, freeze, or error message is observed.

I tried 5 times and could not see the symptom you described. Maybe you can correct me if any step I performed was wrong?

Regards,
Brandon
