I would say that this is likely the problem with Cyberlink. Whenever you record or do something that uses the software, you might get different types of errors with the audio. I just don't know why.
Don't you think using this type of software needs a minimum requirements in your system for you to run it and be able to burn disc smoothly and perfectly?
You can call them in case you encounter such problem. I am sure that they are glad to help either old or new product cases.
It is a possible virus so try to scan your computer for any possible fixes. You can also try to restore your system to the earlier time and see if your disk drive will return.
Sometimes, this type of case might be a video card problem which needs to be updated. Try to reinstall your YouCam if you have the installer though.
I agree on you with that. CyberLink does a lot where they are the best.
