Im dont where to post this but I think I recall seeing some register .dll errors for powerdvd 10 during the install so I will put it here. After installing the software that came with my blu ray drive and restarting my system.... my drive dissapeared! I uninstalled everything the disc put on my computer except a program that the uninstaller says that it wont uninstall it beacuse its meant for Windows XP only?... So in the end im trying to get my disc drive back and get CyberLink removed from my computer forever.

It is a possible virus so try to scan your computer for any possible fixes. You can also try to restore your system to the earlier time and see if your disk drive will return.
