Youcam 3.5 with Dv6z computer lag

Hey everyone, I just got my new laptop and I'm having problems with youcam. I can't get the image to not lag at all when I use it. Before this I had a dv5t laptop and I had Youcam with that aswell and I never had a problem, the image was perfect, but on my new faster computer, the image lags like crazy. I've changed the settings down to 640x480 and wmv, but the image still lags. I thought I could record in HD since that's one of the reasons I got this laptop, thought it would be powerful enough, but it can't even run a webcam. Does anyone know why it is lagging?

Sometimes, this type of case might be a video card problem which needs to be updated. Try to reinstall your YouCam if you have the installer though.
